Parkvue Community felt high class. It didn't feel as homey as the other place. It felt too ritzy. Everybody was just as nice. It was just as pretty. They had all the flowers and the green grass, and they had it all well-kept. We didn't take time to see an individual apartment. We were in a big hurry. They sat us down in this gigantic conference room to speak to the lady that was in charge of talking to us. She was very nice. It just felt a little too high class for me. We would have used it though because they would have accepted my friend's Medicaid. The facility was very well maintained. Everything was extremely nice. They were laying out individual place settings with napkins and silverware in the dining room. It didn't feel like a cafeteria at all. There wasn't anything that turned us away.

I went and visited the Parkvue Community. It was a beautiful place. I would like my brother to go there, but they don't have any openings, for one thing. Everything there was really nice. The room that I looked at had two bedrooms and a larger living room, and it had a separate dining area, which the other place I toured does not. They have a swimming pool, which was really nice. I've seen the dining room and they have activities for the residents.

Parkvue Community had a very nice concept. They've got very friendly people. It's nice and clean. They were doing some construction, and it still was pretty clean. The rooms are nice sizes. The prices aren't too bad compared to what else I've seen. They probably could use some help on the maintenance side. The rooms they showed me looked like they could use some maintenance. Maybe they were just not ready yet, but it was very nice. I only met a couple of people and they're friendly. There was a small kitchen in the room, a dining room/living room area, and a bedroom with a bathroom, but each of them needed a little bit of maintenance. They have a swimming pool and a gym. The information board was really in a nice place. They have a library.

Parkvue Community is very nice and clean. The staff is very pleasant. The rooms are very nice and clean, too. The layout of her room is adequate. They got a swimming pool for the residents, some social events, and movies to watch during the week.

My wife and I have lived at Parkvue in a two bedroom independent living apartment. We LOVE the place. The swimming pool makes it feel like a resort. The food is good, the staff goes out of the way to please us and the administration is quick to respond to any concerns or suggestions.

I visited Parkvue Place. I liked the fact that they have different tiers of care for their residents who are kind of on the same level, which is pretty unique. The facility looks old to me, so I don’t like that part. I did like the fact they have very few turnover with their staff. That’s a huge thing because where my mother-in-law is now, there is turnover all the time.

In 2010 my parents could no longer take care of themselves so I moved them to Sandusky. Moving my parents to Parkvue has been a very good decision. The facility is clean, well staffed, with many programs. The building is 3 stories high, and my parents live on the 3rd floor. A population of about 110 seniors live in facility with an age rage from 67 to mid 90's. Residents are required to purchase a meal plan of one, two or three meals a day. My parents eat dinner in the cafeteria. The average price of their meal is about $11. Programs include bingo, musical acts, movie nights, as well as shopping and theater excursions. Religious services are offered at a small onsite Chapel on Sunday mornings. My parents reside in a two bedroom apartment. A staff member comes on every other Monday to dust, sweep, and clean the bathrooms. Each apartment has several call buttons in case a resident needs immediate assistance. I have found the response time to be very rapid. The facility is owned by the Church of Christ, and there is a full service nursing home across the street. I have always found the staff to be helpful and polite.

This is both an independent living & assisted living facility. The apartments are comingled so residents don't know who is at what level of assistance. There are three levels of assistance provided. Mom has started at the lowest level of assistance. The entire staff has been very friendly & helpful. The dining hall has their own chef on staff. He learns all the residents likes & dislikes, and makes the dining experience special. The residents & staff have been very welcoming, which makes this life transition very comforting. When I get along in years, I hope to find a place like this.
