My dad lives in The Inn at Walker Mill. It's a beautiful community and it was built in 2008. Everybody seems friendly and pleasant there, and the residents seem grateful. When I go there to visit strangers ask me how I'm doing and things like that, and the staff is always on top of everything. They have all kinds of activities, and they have so many things going on up there that it's unbelievable. The food is excellent. When I visit I smell the food, but I don't hang around because then I'd get hungry. Their facilities are excellent, they have exercises, places for seniors to read books, TV rooms, and so on. There's a free phone in your room, it's a big room with your own shower, and a bathroom and everything. My dad is happy. The room is big. It's like an efficiency apartment and everything is clean inside and out. The elderly people greet me when I come in. They also have a doctor and he's a saint.

We liked Commons at Greenbriar, but they had no availability. The place was very clean, and the people were very nice. The atmosphere was very warm and welcoming. If there's a new resident, they replace the carpet and repaint the walls.

The Commons at Greenbriar is very clean. The director has been very accommodating and helpful with the move-in details. The residents are involved in planning day-to-day activities. The menu is varied, but it looks like the food that is served meets everybody's satisfaction. My dad is a very picky eater, but if you don't like something on the menu, there are other choices, like chicken sandwiches or hamburgers. I think it's a very good thing to have the residents participate in things that they really like; I think that's very beneficial.
