My mom was in Rose Lane Nursing and Rehabilitation for about 4-5 months. It's a beautiful place, the structure, the layout of it, I loved it. There's a lot of activities for the residents, the food was good there because I ate it. They were good about following certain diets that needed to be followed because my mom is also a diabetic, so she has to have a diabetic diet and they did well with that. In terms of amenities, they have a hair salon at that location. The rooms were huge, some of them were shared, some of them were private, some rooms had a bathroom and some had a shower room. The staff was great, she never had an issue, and I never had an issue with the staff. They would always call me and update me on my mom. Any time more of us wanted to come in and visit, like in a bigger group, that was pre-COVID, we never had a problem with that. They always had a room available. They get them out and they would have outings, and they have the vehicle that takes them out to outings. I had a fantastic experience with them. They had a beauty salon, they had physical therapy, and occupational, all of their on-site. They also had activities.

My mother was in Rose Lane Nursing and Rehabilitation. It was OK. The nurses were very nice and several were very knowledgeable, but no one paid attention to details. Someone had to be on top of them. She had not had a shower for three weeks, and it was very upsetting that I would have to bring that to their attention. Thankfully, they were very responsive when I spoke with them. It was also disappointing that they only had 45 minutes of rehab per patient and they start the clock from the time they leave the gym to get the patient. Sometimes, 45 minutes was spent mostly on insurance paperwork with the therapist and my mom was getting a minute and a half of actual hands-on therapy. However, everyone was very nice and responsive when I brought things to their attention. With regards to the beds, they seem to try to fix things instead of replacing them. They seemed to be on a very tight budget, but the place was very aesthetically pleasing and very clean. They don't purchase a lot of extras for anyone. She needed a lift chair and the only way they have lift chairs is if other people in long-term care had purchased them and then died and left them. So they'd essentially be donated. Overall, the facility was very nice, and the staff was very nice.

I spent 23 days in Rehab at Rose Lane in April, 2017 following a stroke on Feb. 27,2017 and a hospital stay. I found the operation to be disorganized and poorly run. The rehab portion was OK but quite short time-wise. That may be all that is covered by insurance so I have no problem with that. The meals they served were OK at best. Response to a request for assistance was very poor. Part of my treatment included an IV of an iron supplement which when finished sounded an alarm for personnel to come finish the procedure. On one occasion it took 20 minutes for anyone to come. I would not recommend your facility to anyone.

My wife has dementia and admitted to Rose Lane in early January. She has adapted very quickly and has experienced wonderful care, meals are varied and healthy. Medications are given at appropriate times, dispensed as needed for consumption The staff is to be commended on their efficiency. They are well mannered and courtious to all the various patients which at times can be daunting. some what under staffed as most are but taken care of as best as possible.

Rose Lane is out in the country. They have two little ponds with ducks and swans where people can also go fishing. It is very clean. There is not a speck of dust everywhere. They are probably one of the cleanest places that I have ever been to. They have a beauty shop, street cafeteria and general store. They have little patios everywhere for people to go outside whenever they want. They have fireplaces everywhere. At Christmas time, they take them out to see the lights. They do so much with them. The staff is excellent. They have physical therapists. My mom is there now and she has a private room. They cater to the residents' family. It is a really nice place.
