My mother currently lives there until we can find another place. They are supposed to provide medication 2x a day. Multiple times they have not delivered her medicine in the morning or evening.
One time I called and my mom fell while on the phone with me. I called the front desk and asked them to send someone to her room. I arrived 30 mins later to find her on the floor still and no one had checked on her.

My mother is liking Oakleaf Village of Columbus. I had a virtual tour because of COVID. It's very close to excellent. They have transportation to doctors' appointments and they have a lot of tenured staff. Most places do not have people that have been there in excess of ten to 15 years like they do there. She's very happy with the food. They have activities like cards, social hours, they play old records and dance, there's bingo, and when COVID is lifted they will also provide bus rides to grocery stores. They took a bus ride just the other day. They didn't get out of the bus, but they actually got out of the facility and were able to take a bus ride to go look at a site. The pricing is pretty normal compared to the other places we looked at. It was a good price.

This facility is a really wonderful place for your loved one! They have a locked memory care next door as well as Assisted Living and Independent living in their main building. Staff is always friendly and truly care about their patients. Suzi in activities always has lots of fun things going on for the residents including many different musicians who come in the building for entertainment during the week. I have been impressed with all that they have to offer and they have even begun recent updates to the building which are turning out beautiful.

We're happy with Oakleaf Village of Columbus. It's a good environment for Mom. She likes that the room size is fairly large for a studio. She has a full kitchen, which is something we were looking for. She has a full refrigerator, stove, and microwave. They serve three meals, but you have to buy the third if you want it. They have laundry, medication services, bathing, and clothing assistance, and they have a nurse there that will come in and check your blood pressure and weigh you daily. They provide trash collection and they have transportation to doctors' offices. I've eaten there and it's good. They have a lot of activities.

My mom is in Oakleaf Village of Columbus. The staff was pretty cooperative, and informative. Right now they basically are trying to get my mom involved in activities.
They have a mass there once a month, and they take those who want to go to church on Sundays since they have a small van service. They have entertainers, and people come in to sing for an hour. They have popcorn-hour, and they have buses going to different places. It seemed warmer, and there were people out-and-about. The staff, and the people in the dining area is very pleasant.
When your money runs out, they don't throw you out. They help you apply for Medicaid, and they keep Medicaid patients there.

My father is at Oakleaf Village. The people are very friendly and nice. The room is beautiful. The pricing is fair. They have things going on all the time, but my father does not partake of them. The dining setup looks a little small to me. Dad said the food is good, though I have not eaten there. Overall, Dad is happy there.

We just moved in to Oakleaf, it was right next door to the public library, and they?ve been very helpful as far helping me get the information from the VA. It was close to where I live, so it would be easier for me to visit. They have activities that my father will be really interested in like art classes and the library here in the facility because he loves books. They allowed three of his cats to move in. The people here have been so helpful, very kind, very cheerful, and outgoing.

Oakleaf Village of Columbus was very nice and affordable. I really liked the set-up of the apartment. They had a nice little kitchenette and it was enclosed, which was better than the other facility I saw. I also liked the activties there like field trips, shopping, grocery shopping, and they visited restaurants quite often. There was a beautiful room where they had musical people come in like a small show with just a few pieces. I haven't tried the food but they had a menu where you could order from. I just liked this place a lot.

The staff were very friendly, very clean. The apartments that I've seen were standard size. They have a one bedroom apartment. The place is located in an area of the city that is somewhat declining and it was too far away from my relatives. I think they had exercise, games, and movies.

Oakleaf Village of Columbus is primarily an assisted living facility and not independent living. Their cost is considerably more than the other facility that I visited. Also, the only thing they really offer was a studio apartment. However, when I visited this place, I saw people interacting with one another.
