We toured National Church Residences Mill Run, it was very nice. We liked it and if I think we'd need to take mom into one, we'd do this because it's close to my brother. The people there were very nice, including the gal that showed us around. It seems like the staff is kind of a family, everybody seems to have worked there for a while and everybody knew each other which I thought was nice. We're still in COVID, so they were still not doing a whole lot. But she said they take the residents and they'd go out in the bus, and they would go to different parks, concerts, and there were activities around inside the place and things that they could do. It was very nice and I thought they'd keep my mom busy. We were very pleased with the rooms and the staff that gave the tour was kind of familial.

National Church Residences Mill Run was convenient, very clean, and nice. The only thing I liked least about it was its affordability, and there were a few that couldn't come up with the answers and didn't get back with me, but all in all, they were all fairly nice. They have a salon and an outside covered area/patio kind of thing, too.

National Church Residences Mill Run is excellent. The staff is very professional and very caring. They’ve been tremendous. I’ve heard stories about some places being short-handed; I haven’t seen any of it at all here. We’ve been very impressed with them. The rooms are great, and they’re well laid out and very functional. It’s easy to get there, and the grounds are well kept. The price is reasonable, but it’s on the high-end only because it’s in a nice area.

Traditions at Mill Run is nice and well run. They have a lot of activities, like movies, bingo, and a flower garden where people visit outdoors. Doctors visit facility, and the food is good.

National Church Residences (Traditions at Mill Run) had everything from independent to assisted living and I thought they had skilled nursing. It was pleasant and clean. The rooms were not as spacious. The staff was pleasant. They were undergoing renovation of grounds. They were placing a little garden and a fountain. Currently, they do not have the quality of ground like the others had. They were competent, but not outstanding. They were not as attentive, I guess, on the tour.

They had remodeled and made things more up-to-date at Traditions at Mill Run. It was very well staffed. Everyone had an individual room. They were good on activities, they bring people in, and they have staff that works with individuals. They try to pair people up, and they talk to each other. There was one large dining room for the memory care people and one large dining room for the assisted living. The food was excellent; it's menu driven. The rooms were bigger, more personal, and very well maintained. If I lived close enough, it would've been my #1 choice because of the overall appearance and the residents and staff that I got to meet when I was there. Actually, I have another person from my church that ended up there because of some of the things I said.

National Church Residences has a memory care but they have a waiting list. I probably would have tried to get my husband in there if I could get him on the list but we had to do something really fast. Otherwise, everything is fine there, it was clean and the rooms looked great. The staff was wonderful, knowledgeable and one of the nurses actually talked to me in person.
