Chestnut Hill Senior Living is great. Danielle was the gal over there, and she was fantastic. My sister and I toured it, and then we also took my dad and his wife over. They served us a charcuterie board. The chef came out and introduced himself, and the maintenance staff also came out and introduced himself. The hospitality was fantastic. The only downside is the room that was available was a little bit small. I mentioned that my dad had a procedure, they seemed to be very concerned about that. He's on a med vacuum, so they were highly concerned about that. really liked the place, but their concern was concerning to me.
It's under construction right now, and they're fixing it up. Once they're done, I'm sure it will be extremely nice. All of their amenities and all these other places have been extremely similar. The rooms at Chestnut Hill were fine. There was a little bit smaller kitchen and a smaller room. It was a 1-bedroom, versus at the other place we ended up going to with a 2-bedroom.
They also have tiered care, which makes the monthly payment a little bit unpredictable. If you need a lot of care and they charge you a thousand bucks a month, then the next month, as my dad was better, then thousand bucks would drop off. We would have to take a look at that every month and make sure that we were being charged correctly. I prefer a more predictable monthly payment. The staff there was awesome.

Chestnut Hill was an older community. We had to visit it from the outside. It was a little bit drabber, it wasn't really cheerful, like paint-wise, and colors, and so on. The rooms weren't very spacious, they were very small for a studio. It was more of an older facility, so it wasn't as cheerful. It needed a little bit of work. When you're touring, the only person you're talking to is your sales person who sells it and that's it. COVID was already active at that point, so we didn't get a chance to actually go in and walk around.

This community was nice, and the rooms were an appropriate size. They were large enough to fit a bed, a love seat, and a TV stand. They were in the dining hall, watching a movie, and some people were playing card games. The staff was very friendly, welcoming, showed us everything that was there, asked if we had questions, and provided a gift to my dad when we left. I thought they were accommodating.

I liked it, it was very nice. The rooms were very nice, they had a very nice, open common area, and the dining area was very spacious. I loved their library, it was beautiful. They offer Bible study during the week.

It is fine and clean. The food is good, and the room is nice, clean, and efficient. The caregivers are nice, and it seems to be a comfortable place. My mother seems to like it. That's all I care about.

It was very nice, and the people were very nice too. They were so out and about and enjoying themselves. The staff spoke to everybody by name which was always very nice. The programs were at par and good with any other programs that I've seen. The place looked good, and it didn't smell. The rooms were big enough, not cluttered, and clean, and there were personal items around, which is always important.

This would be the place that I would’ve chosen for my dad because it was really nice. The staff was really nice and gave us Cheryl’s Cookies. They had an elevator, which was nice because my dad has trouble walking sometimes. The model apartments we saw and all the different amenities were nice, too. They took us to an activity room and showed us the list of all the different things that Dad could be involved in. We thought that was really cool. They have a chapel in the building, which is really nice for him to have Sunday service. There was also a guest apartment for people coming from out of town, so there’s a place for them to stay. It was amazing because the guy who assisted us was a veteran and my dad is a veteran, too, so he gave us feedback about different funding that was available through organizations like Veteran’s Angels. It was really helpful to have him during the tour. He also lived on the property, so he was able to give us his own personal feedback from having lived there with his wife.

The location was nice. It was close to me and to my mom. So, it was quite comfortably in between us. The staff was very helpful. She helped us with the problem we were having, and she was very knowledgeable.

We are putting our loved one here. I like the layout of the place. It is nice and spacey. It is on one floor. It has a nice big nurse station, and they seem really nice. They seem like they will be nice people. The bathrooms in the rooms are a nice size. It is just a studio that has a big picture window.
We have a good visit there. They have different entertainers come in. They do exercise aerobics in their chairs and different things like that.

They had activities, but there were a number of people in the living room lounge area; some were conversing, some were watching TV, and some were just kind of sitting. The rooms were fine. The staff was friendly.

This was a facility that was so much like home until I could've stayed there myself!! I am looking for a place for my 81-yr old parents and this facility fits their needs perfectly! The staff was so very nice, and the woman in charge was simply delightful and quite informed. It was extremely clean, welcoming and very home-like -- homey! It is surely a top consideration for my sister and I before we commit to anyone else. We both enjoyed the tour, interaction with both residents and staff members and the convenience/location.

The staff and the rooms were nice. They only needed to improve on the carpets because there were a lot of stains in the carpet which I'm sure weren't dirt but to me it wasn't very appealing. But overall, I liked it.
