The staff is awesome, caring and attentive to both the resident and family. The facility is clean and home like.
I get calls when necessary for important reasons or if my mom needs something.
i am so pleased with her care.

Some of the staff treat the residents as more of a bother of their day. They're more reactive than proactive. Any activity or trips are few and far between.

My mother was in Parkcliffe Community at Northwood before. First of all, if you have a parent that can think, you don't put them in there. Their assisted living building wasn't an assisted living building like they said it was. Everybody in there needs help with everything, and they're very understaffed. They just can't give the quality service that needs to be given. But it's a good place if you want to settle down somewhere. It's like a big house where everybody has their own studio rooms, and there are three to four living rooms in the entire place. They don't have the activities like they said they did. I had to go there every day to make sure my mother was taken care of.

I am a daughter of one of the residents here. They have only been there for five days at this time. Despite fears that they would become withdrawn or physically abusive - none of this has occurred - they are calm and can easily be redirected when their behavior becomes a bit agitated or they are exit seeking. The staff are wonderful with patient calm demeanors, and are very "tuned into their residents. The resident's rooms are very roomy, with good space for the bed and other personal furniture. I have provided care for dementia patients in the past and I am quite impressed and reassured by my experience with Parkcliffe.

My husband is in Parkcliffe and it is strictly for Alzheimer's people. I am pleased with everything especially with the degree of care given there. The staff members are very devoted and they take very, very good care of him. He is a gentleman and easy to care for, but they do really care for him a lot, so that is good.

We recently moved my mother-in-law to Parkcliffe, and we have been very impressed with everything about it. Her room (and the whole house) is kept clean, and the caregivers let us know if she needs anything. She is adjusting well to living there.

Not a very clean facility, and they actually use wheel chaired people to keep residents out of kitchen..however, as my husband said; "Can you image taking care of this many 3 and 4 year old..so this is probably why it is not so clean. Also, my Aunt seems to happy here and at least all of them act similar.

Having a loved one with Alzheimer's is very disheartening so find a place where they would be treated with care and dignity was very important. The staff at Parkcliffe is very friendly and treats residents as family members instead of clients. The medical staff answered questions and are available for any family members who have questions or concerns. Parkcliffe is in a residential area, so it looks more like a home instead of being a nursing facility. The neighborhood is quiet and clean and the neighbors watch out for the staff and residents. Residents are taken to the nearby park for picnics and recreation.
