I went there to see if they could take care of my mom after a debilitating stroke. When we went to visit and tour the facility the staff got very "defensive" because we stopped along the way to ask residents how they liked the place. We were told by Medicare to ask the patients how the food was, did they enjoy activities, just get a residents feel for the place. The person who was taking us around was very friendly UNTIL someone whispered to her "they're talking to people". Her demeanor instantly changed and she became almost hostile. I will never forget her saying "I broker the beds in here, I decide who gets in" (when just moments prior she was saying , "this will be your mom's room") All because we dared to ask residents their opinion (which by the way were favorable). After that we decided we would NEVER want our mom in such a place and wisely choose another facility. Also, I can say my spouse had his mom there and they had her transferrred out because they weren't pleased with the care she was receiving.

The rooms were clean and comfortable. The staff was professional and friendly. I was there for rehab and the therapists were amazing. No one wants to hear that they need rehab before going home. If I need rehab again down the road, I will only come here.
I was invited to come to activities but I was happy just talking with my roommate and watching tv between therapy sessions.

Believe their Reviews that you SHOULD NOT send your loved one here. Mine was FORCED to come here. I walked in for the first time and my loved one had no clothes on in bed barely alive, I thought my person was dying, my loved one slept, the Staff just let's them sleep, now a week later my loved ones in serious condition in the Hospital. My loved one I had a Nurse dress them and my loved one expressed hunger but was made to sleep on that day, the next day my loved one was like not responding, their like..."Is this normal for your loved one", the Staff didn't know what to do. The other Patient/Room mate was screaming for food and wet diaper to come off. I was frightened to be there.

my room #41-2 was nice enough, I enjoyed the window view. nice bathroom and sinks also. staff was very good all day, a little weaker at night. the food was mostly very good. the speech coach and the physical and occupational staff was the best. I took notice that the transport helpers were often overwhelmed with too many people at once causing very long and uncomfortable waits for me and others to return to our rooms.
I lost the written survey but wanted to also thank linda and Kathy for getting me the hospital bed and commode

I recently stayed here for rehab for the second time in four years. My room was a single, and we kept amazingly clean along with the rest of the facility. The staff was excellent, both for the unit and PT. The food was great, although I would have appreciated more meals served in the dining room.
I highly recommend Broadview Multicare. If you need rehab, this is the place to go!

I wish I would have known that they are quite understaffed. Your loved one will wait hours for a simple dressing change. Their medication schedule will be off, and worse, they may get the wrong meds since the staff can't seem to put them back in the right spot. The staff can be unprofessional. They love to tell you how busy they are, but trust me, they will make your loved one wait for over an hour to go to the bathroom (not fun for someone who is a senior!). Supervisors are apologetic, but not much changes. I would recommend finding another facility that has better staffing and who value professionalism from all of their staff members.

Not enough employees.. When I asked their answer was we have the number of employees according to regulations. The first room they placed me in the lady in the other bed yelled all night that she had "pain in her belly". I felt very sorry for her and tried to help by telling her to press her call button but that didn't help. The second room they put me had a very quiet lady in the other bed but it was directly across from the Ice Machine which went all night long, making and dumping ice. It sounded like a piece of construction equipment. The third room they put me in was at the end of the hall. Very nice large room. Now they could ignore me without any effort. The people working on the short term floor would not cooperate with the Therapy Unit. In order for me to tolerate my therapy I was supposed to be given pain medication 1 hour before therapy. They did this a few times but then quit. When I asked why they said they could give the medications 1 hour before or 1 hour after the designated time and they chose the 1 hour after my therapy. Good job people. The food was good. It was served too late if you chose to eat in your room. If you felt good enough to go to the dining room you ate sooner.

Mom was in Broadview Mutli-care for just over one year. Everyone there was wonderful, and took a personal interest in Mom. She seemed very happy there. Visits were encouraged, dad was welcome to see her everyday which he did. I am so glad that we chose Broadview multi care, we had a much different experience at another facilty.

Broadview Multi Care Center was a pretty big facility. It was not as clean as it should be. They were understaffed, there were not enough people who worked there. The food was typical nursing food, not that exciting.

When first entering the building the atmosphere seemed uninviting, the smell was terrible, and the decor was sad looking. I felt uncomfortable. Upon further entrance I found it to be dirty and out of any type of comforting atmosphere. There were cob webs in the corner of the hallways and what seemed to be a blood stain on the tile floor. My grandfather complained to me about his room being to cold and no one helping him. Worst of all, my grandfather complained about them miss treating him during his stay there. My family and I found bruises on his ankles and wrist from where the workers roughly picked him up at. My grandfather's bed was in a stuck upright position and they refused to give him a new bed. When we asked the workers about the incident they were very impolite and misleading. Needless to say, my family and I removed my grandfather out of the facility. I would not recommend this nursing facility to anyone under any circumstances.

I recently took a tour of this nursing home and the first thoughts that came to me was "WOW". This is a wonderful place. I felt like home when I walked in. Everyone was so kind and courteous. I visited a few other places and none really gave me that "this is the place I want to put my parents" type of feel. The receptionist was nice and very helpful, and the admission lady, I believe her name was Cleo, was so helpful and really showed me positive aspects as to why I should choose this facility versus another one, such as the one across the street. The nurses that I passed in the halls seemed to genuinely care about their residents needs, which really impressed me. It was just a wonderful experience overall. Visiting Broadview Multi Care really gave me a great first impression and I can gladly say they are on top of my list as far as nursing homes that I want my parents to live in. Definitely recommend this place to anyone looking for a 5 star facility.

A family member of mine was here a few years ago. We had a horrible experience with them. A large majority of the staff seemed very cold and uncaring, and there were quite a few instances in which we tried to express our dissatisfaction, only to be met with snide remarks and excuses about "long hours and difficult people". This is definitely a place that I have told many people about, negatively, and have suggested often for people NOT to send relatives there.
