About This Community

Arden Courts is a residential living, combined with quality caregiving. A well-planned, secure and simple environment. The freedom to pursue one's own interests and enjoy one's surroundings. Just the right amount of assistance and structure to help make the most of each person's abilities. And, most of all, an environment that preserves the warmth, the caring, the comforts and the routines of home. Arden Courts begins with an extensive assessment of the individual's preferences, health and social needs. We also learn about his or her individual skills, interests, history and home life. Then, we develop a customized service/care plan outlining those services and programs the resident needs or would like. And everyone-employees, residents and family members work together to implement the plan, making ongoing assessments and adjustments as necessary.

My mother has moved into Arden Courts Memory Care and it's very nice. It's only for memory care and it's fabulous. There are four homes in the place and each of the four homes have 16 residents. There's a living room and a dining room, and they all have their own room with a bathroom, a toilet, and sink. The shower is out in the hallway and the staff takes them down to shower. There's four of those homes that are in this nice gated community with lots of walking areas, flowers, birdfeeders, and all that kind of stuff. In the middle, there are several different places that they can sit and read, or do whatever they want. Each home is a little different and they have activities in two different places, one is more for songs, music, and the bible reading. The other one is more artistic and they do artwork and puzzles. Today, they're on a field trip to go get ice cream. She has gone from 89 pounds to 112 pounds. The food is delightful and there are plenty of choices. The kitchen is right in their little pod for 16 people. There is a menu, but if she doesn't want to have what they're having, they have cereal, oatmeal, or other things.

My mom moved into Arden Courts. They are for people with dementia, and they’re good with what they do. They were highly recommended by a lot of people. A lot of people have been employed there for a long time. It was very impressive that everyone from the kitchen staff to the administrative staff were all trained to deal with people with dementia so there will be no one pushing the wrong buttons. I like the quiet environment, they do facial and hand massages, and there are a lot of recliners for the people to sit.
