Many of our residents would tell you that the truth is they were lonely at home. Many of them had no way to get any where. Families were busy or had moved away for jobs. It was all too easy to lose touch. They "used to" play cards or enjoy music, "used to" go out for lunch. Moving to the Waterford not only gave them the chance to do those things on a daily basis, it filled up their life again. They enjoy companionship, great conversations, share memories of family, introduce grandchildren......enjoy a card game, bingo or a bus trip to really neat places. At the Waterford, you can get your flu shot, vote and get your taxes done. You won't believe all the services.
We know it's a scary proposition to make a big change in your life, to do something really different but everyone in this world deserves to have new horizons......, no matter what your age, where you've always lived, what you've always done. Life is still about new opportunities and challenges . That is our promise and mission and it is as important to us as it is to you.
The Waterford.......Independent Living at its Finest...... where you're friends are.

We have toured The Waterford at Mansfield. It's assisted living, and they are constructing a memory care unit that will be opening in the first part of October. We were not able to see that because it's still under construction, but we were able to see the rest of the building. It appeared to be very nice, very clean, bright, and open. The people were friendly. We talked with the director of the memory unit for quite a while and she definitely helped my mom to feel more comfortable placing dad somewhere, and so that was most helpful. There were a few residents, but for the most part, it was the staff that we were in touch with. We saw an apartment that was absolutely beautiful and very adequate. It's a one-bedroom with a small kitchen and living area; it's just beautiful.
They offer the nursing staff, meals, laundry, and housekeeping. For memory care, it's all included in one price, whereas for assisted living, it's on the tiered schedule. The dining room of the assisted living was very nice. It was the middle of the afternoon, but it was very clean. The outside ground was well taken care of, also. All the way around, it was very nice.

My father-in- law is at the assisted living of the Waterford at Mansfield. It has a very nice appearance, it's clean, and inviting. We had a couple of glitches to work out during the transition, but I think it's getting there. They have everything from bingo, to games in the activity room, to groups of people playing euchre and cards, and they also have outings. They have a library, a little exercise room, and a beauty shop on campus. We've eaten there, they encouraged family to eat there, and he can eat anytime during the day. They have a few entree selections for that particular day, but you can always get something off the regular menu like a hamburger, chicken, or hot dog, and it's good food.

When I first stepped into the Waterford I immediately thought of an old Hollywood hotel. It truly was spacious and beautiful. As I continued on my tour, I was greeted by many friendly staff members. I observed that the care that was given to the residents was kind and gentle. The staff seemed to go out of their way to make sure the residents felt at home. The apartments were spacious and well maintained. The food was amazing and made with fresh ingredients.
This facility seemed like a place that would make you feel like family.

The rooms are pleasant and spacious, large windows give an airy feel to the apartment. Our relationship with the staff members is so pleasant, we feel as though they are an extended part of our own family. They care for our mother as though she is their own. The residents always seem to be busy with activities, so nice to walk into such a lively community, and the other residents always seem so happy. Seeing the smiles of the staff and the residents each time we toured the facility helped us make the decision to move mom to The Waterford!!!

My wife's grandmother is resident there and treated very badly. They keep raising the prices because they say she needs more care however she never receives more care. We have even had a problem with one of male residents trying to do things to my wife's grandmother to the point the police got involved. The management still did nothing to help out .This place is total joke. If you want to spend a lot of money and get no care than go here.

My mom has lived here for awhile, now that she needs some medication management we have seen how they truly treat people. Horrible!!!! I'm moving her immediately. I can't believe how they spoke to my mother, especially for the money shes paying, terribly rude, disrespectful, uncaring!

The Waterford at Mansfield was huge and offered different levels. They had van rides that took the residents different places. The tour uide was not there the day I visited, but the staff was very nice and answered all of my questions. The facility was very clean.

The Waterford at Mansfield is really nice. The only problem with them is that they are controlled by a religious community. They have everything you desire in an apartment. I have nothing against religion, but I don't like the religious aspect. They have everything you could want as far as activities, but the only thing is they should advertise that they are religious based. Everybody is nice. They are well trained, and they know their product well.

I chose Waterford because of the dining facility, they do not have a schedule, and before supper they have a restaurant that’s open from 11 to 6 pm so you can go in anytime. It also has a nursing facility around the clock.

Waterford at Mansfield is a lovely place. I have been in their dining room, which is lovely. The food is very good, and it is nice and clean. The rooms are a little bit smaller, but other than that they are fine. I had a friend who is a resident, but she passed away now, but I know she played a lot of bridge and cards of some sort.

The Waterford at Mansfield was exceptionally clean. My sister and I went for a visit since we looked for a place for our parents. We had lunch there and the food was excellent. The apartments were really nice and they had a lot of activities for the residents. If I had to put someone in a facility, it would be there.
