Developed nearly 30 years ago, Arden Courts provides a unique approach to caregiving and was created to help people living with memory loss enjoy residential living, while receiving the professional assistance they need 24 hours a day. We understand dementia because memory care is all we do.
Arden Courts recognizes that our residents have individual routines and interests, capabilities and needs. We set out to accommodate their individuality beginning with an assessment by one of our professional staff members. Working with you, we develop an individualized care plan which is regularly adjusted to meet any changes in your loved one’s routine or condition.
Our community was specially designed not only to be safe and secure, but to instill a sense of home that enables our residents to remain as independent as possible. The layout of the community was designed to help your loved one stay as oriented as possible while maximizing their independence. Our safe and secure landscaped walking paths and courtyard areas allow residents to explore and be as active as they would like. Our engaging, success-oriented programming is scheduled throughout the day and is tailored to meet our resident’s abilities and interests.
When it comes to memory care, experience makes a difference. Contact us to arrange for your personal tour and discover how Arden Courts can make a difference in your loved one’s life today.

I am a family friend of a resident here. They seem to have many different activities going on throughout the day...things like musicians, morning coffee club, various crafts, mass etc. Most of staff is polite and helpful. The layout of the building is good because it lets the residents roam inside and outside safely. Overall, generally pleased with what I've seen so far.

This facility is poorly run, they are short of help 95 percent of the time. They are supposed to let you know if your LO has a fall but that isn't always the case. Recently they have lost several residents to other facilities because management does not follow through with the plans they discuss with you to make things better. I have removed my LO from this facility because I cannot live with being lied to and worrying about my LO all the time. When you take a tour a code goes out so everyone is on their best behavior, don't fall for this, please keep looking.

Arden Courts was one place that I toured that I thought was horrible. It was clean from what I can tell and very convenient but the rooms were tiny. There was only room for a twin bed and the way it was configured, there was a place to put a chair by the window but you wouldn’t be able to put a walker in front of it and you wouldn’t be able to put a recliner. They were just tiny and they had the community shower. It wasn’t a place that would be uplifting for a resident. The staff that I interacted with was friendly but I didn’t see them doing anything but just standing around.

My aunt is at Arden Courts. I visited a lot of nursing homes and assisted living homes in the area where I live, and I chose this one. It is very nice. It is clean. It doesn't remind me of a typical nursing home facility. The dining area is nice enough. The food can be better though. They have a lot of crafts. They bring in entertainment. They brought in a couple of bands since she has been there. The facility setup itself stood out for me because patients can go outside in kind of like a ground that is locked up. It has high fencing. They are not just cooped up in the room. They can walk around.

Right now my mother is in Arden Courts. This is our choice because the facility is really nice and clean. The staff is very good. They have many nice caretakers there. They make sure that residents are bathed, etc. They do room-by-room laundry, so you don't lose your things. Whatever my mom can't do, they're right there to help her. They are very helpful and very nice to her, which is the main thing we want for her actually. They all love her there. They do have buzzers in my mom's room, but they're not answered right away. Other than that, I think the staff overall is fine. My mom has her own bedroom and bathroom. We brought all of her stuff in. We're using some of theirs but not very many. However, her room is very good. They also do a lot of activities there. They have just about everything there. They have church services. They have a beauty shop there. They have a good-sized dining room. They have tables where the wheelchairs can go under. They have tablecloths, cloth napkins and placemats. I have eaten lunch with my mother before and it's very good. My mom is happy there. What I like best about this place is that they keep me informed on things that are going on with my mom. I would definitely recommend this place to others.

My loved one has been at Arden Courts of Kenwood for a number of years and recently within the past year and a half, I have noticed life come back into our home! The Caregivers are taking pride in what they do, the executive director is loving and caring, always present and available, the front end staff more pleasant and always helpful, the residents are loved and cared for. They are called by name, addressed with love and respect, I really cannot ask for more. The families are listened to and honestly I am grateful the kindness and time extended to our family. We are part of a family not just a monthly payment. I have been more than pleased knowing my mother is here and I can come in and find her in a home filled with special people who really do love her and care about us a family. People are human and no day is perfect and dementia is not perfect but this facility and the staff there, is as close as it comes and I am so blessed to have them!

My Aunt has been in Arden Courts for quite sometime now. This is a nice home. The genuine care makes us really happy. The place is always clean. They make time to give her individual attention. They help her with her hair and make-up, do her nails, do puzzles and word searches with her, keep her room tidy and her bed made up every day. My Aunt is content and healthy. I would recommend this home to anyone.
