Hillspring Skilled Nursing Facility was very clean. My dad stayed in a shared room when he was there. It's a big room with a curtain in between. Overall, we enjoyed our experience and I thought they did a really good job. The staff members were all great. They have all the amenities. They provide the meals and they play games and all sorts of stuff. There are a lot of things to do.

No hot water in my Mom's bathroom. It took 16 hours to get her toilet unclogged. She sat in a wet under garment for hours. This place is very understaffed and the staff they do have is lazy and NO one there knows anything. They give you the run around to EVERY question you ask.

My mother moved into Hillspring of Springboro. We only have window visits because of COVID, but we're very satisfied with them. The staff is very good. They've been very responsive, and we like them a lot. She has been there about a month now, and a couple of weeks of it she just had to spend making sure she didn't have COVID. I don't think she's gotten into the swing of the activities yet, but they have a person dedicated to that.

My mother is a resident, and I visit frequently. The staff are always helpful and friendly. The facility is clean. The residents all appear to be well cared for. My mom likes the food, and I think it looks good. They have many choices of food for each meal. There are several areas where family can visit. They have an outside courtyard with many benches. We enjoy visiting outside when the weather is nice. My mom recently went on an outing to a church where kids performed and they sang songs. She really enjoyed that.

Hillspring is a traditional-style nursing home. My father-in-law stayed there for about five months. It was difficult for him to assimilate to the facility. The staff was really very good but had some significant management issues. They had a difficult time keeping track of my father-in-law’s clothes; we’re still missing a gown, comforter, and blanket. They were having problems financially. They had a transitory staff with some very obvious struggles.

Patient employees. Clean facility. Helpful too the residents and their relatives. Mother-in law was placed there for rehabilitation and did wonderful.
