My favorite. Nursing home. This is my second. Staff here is such that I consider most of them on pedestals. They are kind and efficient. The have good humor. Food is great also.

What a wonderful place for my grandmother. She was well taken care of and had staff that really loved her

Dad was here just over 3 years. Facilities are kept clean. Decor is always nice and smells good. Staff is compassionate and caring. Tons of activities for residents and monthly outings to casinos, eateries and/or stores. Anytime I ever had to call in to have someone help me with Dad, my calls were always answered quickly and help was given right away. Dad was happy as he could be having to be in a nursing home. During his final hospice days, the staff was family as they cried saying good bye to one of their own. Thumbs up all the way!! Take time and visit the facility, you will get the same "feel" I did.

Absolutely no assistance on third shift. My mother called me over 8 times due to NO ASSISTANCE to the bathroom and having to lay in her own excrement. She was only short term rehab after surgery. I will never put my loved one in a place like this again!!! No stars!

The visit to Hawthorn was very good. The whole facility is very nice, and the inside is very clean with no odors. The outside and the gardens were great. The memory care section, which would be for my dad, seems really good. We were very impressed with the staff and the activity director. Plus, it’s 3 miles from my house.
The skilled care section seemed to be a very nice facility and they’re remodelling each room. They do have dog shows there, and had pictures of dog shows, a plus as my mother likes dogs. The aesthetics of the place is very appealing and they’ve done a lot to make it feel like home.
