I chose Fairfield Village Senior Apartments, and I'm on a wait list. It's a very nice place. The staff is very friendly, very knowledgeable, and the residents are very friendly. It's a no frills type place, so if you're looking for laundry service, or meal prep, it has none of those amenities. It's just a nice community. It looked very nice. There was a maintenance man on the premises doing some upkeep. I looked at the two bedrooms, that's what I chose, and it looks very spacious. It has a full kitchen. It comes with the washer and dryer, the refrigerator, and the stove. It has some storage facilities available outside of the apartment. It doesn't look like it has very much storage inside the apartment itself, so if you need lots of closets, there are other facilities available. There's a cafe, it has a fireplace in there, and television, and people seem to socialize in there. It has an exercise room that has a bike, treadmill, some weights, and it has a patio that has grills available outside. It also has a community kitchen. If you have guests or want to do parties, that's available, and the grills outside are available as a separate patio area. They have a salon. The only reason why I'd give it a 2 is because it is basic. It doesn't have the amenities some of the other higher-priced facilities have.

Fairfield Village Senior Apartments is a brand new community, very pretty, and priced right because all of the utilities are included. So if somebody is looking for a place where they don't have to pay for everything that's everything's included, that's the place, and it's 50 and older. Because I had issues with the manager, I would have to rate it a 3-1/5. We had a 2:00 appointment with the manager, and when I called him to tell him that we had dropped off some papers, I had to leave him a voicemail on his personal cellphone so I know he got it. I reminded him of the appointment coming up and said that if there's a reason we don't need to come please call me back so we don't have to waste our trip out there, my dad's 83 years old and it's not easy for him to get around. He never called me back so I presumed that the appointment was still on. We get there and there's a note on his door saying "We're returning at 3:00" so we had to wait for an hour. I forgot to program his name into my phone so I had to call the actual company and the phone just rang and rang and rang. After a process of elimination, I found his number and called his phone. We checked inside and there was no one in his office, and when I called his phone it rang inside the office but as I was leaving a voice message that we're standing outside and he's not there, the door opens and there he stands. So because of that, it is very beautiful. I saw calendars and stuff and people walking around, and they've got a TV room and stuff like that. The room was perfect, the size was very large, and the layout was perfect. You walk in and it's an open-style kitchen, it has a microwave, refrigerator, dishwasher, and it even has a washer and dryer in each individual room. I can't say anything bad about the looks of the community. There's a maintenance number that you can call 24/7 if something goes wrong. I'm pretty sure they don't provide meals.
