I went to Fairfield Place. It was dark and dingy. It was painted in hospital green and just was not bright and cheerful. They did have outdoors, and they were adequate. They were fine. It wasn't my favorite at all.

We had a very nice tour of Fairfield Place. We were very pleased with the staff, with the reception we received, and with the honest information that we feel we got from them. They had a nice dining area, an area where women could get their hair done and fixed or men could go and get their hair cut, a podiatrist that can come in, a physician, and a psychiatrist. It was a great trip. They give us the information we need to try to make an educated decision.

Fairfield Place was very nice. It's smaller than some places, but that's good because they have a low turnover in staff. They don't use agencies to staff the place. Because of that, they tend to keep people longer and the residents get to know the people that are taking care of them better. I thought that was a really good thing. It looked clean, cozy, and well taken care of. The residents looked happy. The layout was nice. They had a courtyard in the center where people could go outside to get a little fresh air, but it was enclosed. The building was built around it, so they could go out there without any risk of wandering off. It looked very good. The staff was great. They were friendly. They seemed to care about the people that they take care of. One of the girls had been there a couple of years, but the other guy had been there close to ten years. I think it's great that they have a good staff that they can keep for a long time.

The tour I had at Fairfield Place was excellent. I enjoyed it. The energy was good. The staff was very uplifting and encouraging. The rooms were reasonable. They showed me several rooms, I think about two or three, and all of them were nice-sized. The dining area was also nice and intimate. When we walked in, the residents were laughing, having fun talking, and doing things.

Fairfield Place was cramped, dark, and crowded. It was bad. The staff was very amicable, very friendly, very open, and very positive. The room that we toured was tiny, with only one window in the bedroom. The kitchenette had a refrigerator that was so small you had to get down on your knees to get anything in or out. It came with a microwave that was the size of a jewelry box. The sink was hardly large enough to wash a dish. The apartment itself was very tiny, very cramped, and very dark. It was not pleasant at all. It would be like putting my mother in a closet. They had some activities for the residents. They had a chef that was on staff. The facility did not appear to be that clean.

I toured Fairfield Place. I liked the courtyard. They had a nice outdoor courtyard area. That's probably what I liked the most. What I liked the least was the cost. They had all these additional costs you have to pay. Like in addition to the $5000 a month, it was a $3000 starting fee, but the staff said she would knock it down to like $2000, which is still a big chunk of money. She said it was used for like landscaping, keeping the grounds nice, and things, but that seems excessive to me. The staff was a little bit pushy. She was a bit salesy, which I didn't like. It was very clean and nice. For me, it was within 20 minutes of where I live, and we wanted something close so that we could visit often. It is near Mercy Health Fairfield Hospital.

The tour experience at Fairfield Place was very good. They actually were not expecting me, but they were perfectly fine, very cordial, and very nice. I met their director and someone else. They were very friendly, and they talked to me about the residents. It seems like one big family there. They took me on a tour and showed me three different rooms. The gentleman who took me around knew the residents' names. It was impressive, so it was very nice. The rooms were very clean and well lit, and I like that you could use your own furnishings. They have a cafeteria, a common area, a courtyard, a sunroom, and a beauty shop. They were doing some activities through the building too. The staff members that I met have all been there for a long time, which says a lot to me.

My mother moved into Fairfield Place. We chose it because it was a smaller place, they had a lot of activities, and it was all on one floor. Those were the things that I was looking for because she's ninety-two years old. The other ones were very nice, but they had elevators, and I don't think she was ready to deal with elevators at ninety-two. I talk to her at least three or four times a week, but she's very seldom in her place because of all the activities, so it's kind of hard to get in touch with her. She loves the food, she loves the games they play, and she likes the people. The room is not just all white or all black; it's a mixture, and I wanted her to be around something like that. I haven't had any complaints. Sometimes I can't get a hold of her when I call, so I have to call the main office, and they'll say, "She's sitting out here," and then they'll tell her that I'm calling. From what my mother tells me, the staff does a great job. They come in, they give her her medication, they assist her with bathing, they do her laundry, and they clean up once a week. She talks about the food all the time, and they keep her busy. Her room could be a little bigger.

Fairfield Place was clean and had a very inviting feel. Everything was on the same level. The staff was very responsive, they phoned me back just to make sure they had answered everything, and they also phoned me back last week just to find out what my status is and if we've found anything. The layout was like a big square, and they have a courtyard. The upkeep and cleanliness was good, and it was clean.

My dad was placed in Fairfield Place, but he fell and died after he was there. It looked fine, we never got to see the room because COVID happened, and we were never allowed to visit. The staff was wonderful, they tried to keep the patients busy with different things, but they couldn't have anybody come in the facility for entertainment like they talked about that they provided because of the pandemic. They've sent pictures of him coloring and dancing. We chose it because they had a room available for him to go in, and we just liked the people that we met with that day.

Small community with a short staff. They try to sell on being small but it comes with a cost. The HWD needs replaced. Stay away from Enlivant.

I visited here and loved the community. It was very clean and didn't smell at all like most places do. It also is small so it is easy for residents to walk around and not get lost, they aren't just a number there. I would recommend this community to anyone looking for someone they truly care about.

I liked it a lot. The staff showed us a very nice room. The grounds were nice, and the whole facility was clean. While we were touring, every staff member greeted us. All of the residents were singing as part of an activity while we were there. Everyone seemed friendly. The staff gave us a list of activities; I’m sure my son will enjoy their song and dance activities.

The facilities and people were nice. They gave me a nice tour and explained some of the details of their operation, which was good. However, my mother didn't want to go that far across town. It's a nice place. Other than my mother not wanting to go across town, which really is much more convenient for me, cost might have been also a factor; really, it's just that she doesn't want to move. It's definitely a nice place.

The staff was friendly enough. They had a nice courtyard. I am considering having my mom do a respite period in this facility. Their dining area was OK.

My dad is here. I would say the staff is about average. They're pretty good. The room is good. The dining room is nice. According to my dad, the food is average. In terms of activities, he is pretty much sealed to his room, but they're trying their best to bring him out, but he just doesn't do it. What I like best about this place is the people. They're really nice people. Also, my father likes this facility.

I placed my parents in here. It does not smell like urine. It is intimate and it is not overwhelmingly large. It is home like. The staff seems to be wonderful. They have a two-bedroom apartment with a living room, a bedroom, a bathroom with a small kitchenette. They have activities not that my parents participate but they do have activities.

very nice, except for two items...rooms are vevery small, about 330 sq ft and the lounge/sitting room just inside the entrance is a gathering place for folks who are asleep, or just tired. makes a very jarring first impression. staff is very ploite and friendly, menu seems great. if you can do with a small room, its a nice place to be

My aunt's room is very nice and spacious. They have a sitting area, a bedroom, a full bath, and she has control in her air-conditioning. The staff was very nice. They have an activities director who is very personable and easy to deal with. At first I was worried that the people there were a little slower in moving around. My aunt has dementia, but she has a good mind. She used to be a nurse, so she feels like she's useful there and that she's able to comfort some of the other patients. And she thinks she'll do well there. They also have a nice garden area in the middle, a sitting area, and a patio. As far as the sales team and administration, it was a little bit loose. But other than that, everything has been fine.
