As part of Hillandale’s Continuing Care Retirement Community (CCRC), long-term skilled nursing care is offered to medically complex patients who require continued care and extended recovery time.

You can tell that this facility is well taken care of! There are lots of familiar faces throughout the staff - last time I was there, I was talking to one of the nurses that has been there for over 20 years! It seems like a great place to work and their staff really prides themselves on building relationships with the residents. The staff all know the residents by name and even remember me too when I come for the outdoor visits during this pandemic! We have been so lucky that we found such a great place right off the bat! They offer health services with doctors coming to see the residents on a regular basis, awesome therapy services, laundry, and around the clock care. There is always someone there to help get her whatever my grandma needs. This facility is very impressive! We love knowing that she is safe and sound at Doverwood!

I first visited this facility back in January of last year when we were looking for a place for my grandma. We were very impressed with the facility and the staff that helped guide us around! In the end, we decided to go with Doverwood and so happy we did! There is lots to do here and they always have my grandma busy! She loves to watch animal planet and the staff knows it! Every time we come to visit they have it on for her, so thoughtful! She really enjoys the food and community all together. It is so nice just seeing her happy and healthy. We know she is being taken well care of and that is really what matters to us the most!

Doverwood was awesome. I broke my ankle and I could not put any weight on it at all, and every time I had to go to the bathroom, they would come. They would bring my meals. They were just great. The food was excellent. The therapy was absolutely wonderful. They were very patient with the activities that I could do. I loved it there. The staff was excellent and very pleasant. I had a kidney transplant and they were very cautious. They were very professional. I got an infection when I was there, and they took care of it right away. It's a wonderful place, very clean, and organized. It was perfect.

My mother was at Doverwood, the staff was amazing from the Adminastrative staff to the floor staff that cared for me. They made me feel special and like family. Truly an amazing experience.

Per staff- 1 had only one unsatisfactory incident with a staffmember and it was addessed to my satisfaction.
Food- Excellent
Facilities- very satisfied, impressedw/ such detail to make it feel like home

Staff is overwhelmed, disorganized and poorly trained. In September of 2014 my Mother had to go to the Doverwood portion of this facility following a hip replacement to get rehab. I called her around 7PM and she was in distress, she had been ringing the call button for 30 minutes trying to get the attention of the staff so she could go to the bathroom. I had to call 3 different numbers to finally find the correct facility that housed her. In all three calls very little empathy was given for the situation. If you love your family, don't consider this facility for their care.
