You can choose a spacious patio home with it’s own garage, plenty of privacy, and a friendly neighborhood feel or a luxurious apartment with a studio, one-bedroom, or two bedroom floor plan. Both offer monthly leases and NO ENTRANCE FEES.

Assisted Living Care

Our Assisted Living Care facilities are called Ashley Place and they feature an independent environment, with assurance that help is nearby. Individualized care is designed with concern and compassion to promote the highest level of physical, spiritual and cognitive functioning. Everyone wants to live as enjoyably as possible. Give your loved one the comfort of his or her own daily routine along with the safety and support of assisted living care.

There’s no one-size-fits-all program or environment when it comes to real people in real life. You are an individual and so are the people you care about. That means that your situation, while it may have similarities to others, is bound to be unique.

Resident receives personalized care suited to his or her individual wants and needs. While all of our family members deserve the same love and respect, they also deserve a special collection of personal care options that fits the way they want to live.

From keeping things clean and serving nutritious meals to helping organize medications and maintain good hygiene, we care about the same things that you do. Plus we have the benefit of a direct connection to doctors, specialists, and other healthcare professionals that may be needed.

Memory Care Assisted Living

Our memories can be some of the most personal and precious things we carry with us. And when they begin to fade, the effects can be devastating. Unfortunately science is still wrestling with Alzheimer’s Disease and other forms of dementia. So, while we eagerly await a cure, there are things we can do to bring comfort in the meantime.

Our Memory Care Assisted Living facilities are called Chelsea Place and they feature Memory Care in an Assisted Living environment. This approach creates a peaceful setting with the assurance that help is nearby.

The staff at Chesterwood Village was nice, the activities were the same as the other place I toured, and the place was very nice. They have a lot to do, and it feels like you're on vacation. The staff who gave the tour was very professional, friendly, nice. The place was very clean and nice. They have a restaurant, gym, a salon, a little cafe, and an activities room.

Do not send your family members here! They let my husband fall within the first hour of arrival and tried to cover it up. When it happened they said he had a scraped knee. When I called the next day to make appointment they finally fessed up that his shoulder was broken. Then they had the nerve to tell me he had to wait four hours for transport to the hospital when the hospital is across the street! My husband had a stroke and is nonverbal. Had I not been there I am convinced he wouldn’t have been cared for. He sat for 20 hours with no pain medicine until he got morphine at hospital!

I have been so impressed with everything they have done during this pandemic to keep the residents and staff safe.  I went to visit my family member recently and had such a lovely time visiting. They have built these outdoor walls to protect the residents and visitors during their visiting time which are so nice. They have figured out a way for us to see each other and I am so grateful. We are so happy we chose Chesterwood and their amazing staff. True heroes!

My mom lived at Chesterwood for several years. She Enjoyed all the activity offered that families could join in on, Originality of atmosphere on Main Street is fun and inviting. My mom felt like she found a place she could call home. The residents are friendly and looked after her while she was adjusting to all the newness. We have told our friends to look here when it is time to place their loved ones."

Chesterwood is a beautiful facility and very well maintained. The staff have always been very responsive in addressing patient care needs, especially during this pandemic. An added bonus to having great staff, food and facilities are the social activities they offer on a daily basis for resident interactions. Highly recommend Chesterwood!

Chesterwood Village is a very nice community. It's beautiful. They provide activities and meals, and they have an aide and a nurse. My father seems to like the food very well. The staff is extremely nice.

My grandmother was a resident there for many years. She was always well taken care of. The facility is clean. She always told me that the food was good. Unfortunately as she got older we had to move her into skilled nursing. I would have taken her nowhere else beside Chesterwood!

Facility is lovely and rooms very nice and large. But administration constantly tells you things that don’t happen or are not accurate. Not enough staff in kitchen areas which adds more work to the care staff who are already short handed. Long term skilled care patients can wait over an hour for food to arrive. Sometimes my relative is forgotten completely. One morning forgotten and didn’t get breakfast until I asked and it was only an hour before lunch time!!! Activities for LTC residents scheduled right at lunch or dinner time some days. The staff they have are mostly lovely and caring people who are doing the best they can but are only human and can’t make up for the lack of adequate numbers. It may be ok for people who can do things for themselves, but the helpless are not properly helped. My assessment is it’s an administration/owner problem. We are looking elsewhere.

The food has been horrible frequently! A BLT was served ice cold for dinner, spaghetti was served cold an hour and half later to a diabetic that had insulin quite awhile ago, and people are bringing in food for some of the residents because it had been so bad. Care has declined. Many of the good aids left. Some of the staff has refused to care if close to the time they are getting off. A couple of staff members are rough with the patients. For the cost, at least the food should be edible all of the time and care should be good.

I'm now in Chesterwood Village. They have a nurse and two aides on duty at all times and we have a push button thing we wear around our necks. If we push the button, one of the aides will be in our room in two minutes. It's pretty good. They help us with our showers and our medications. We have our own dining room and we get three meals a day. It's a beautiful facility. They cleaned the room and washed the rug when I got in. It's spotless, so I'm very happy. They only had a studio available when I got here. Somebody moved out and I got one of the best rooms. It's very pretty. It's working out very nice for me. Every morning they have a sheet of paper stating what the activities for the day are. They play bingo at night and do different things. It's pretty average price wise.
