Patient suffered a stroke and needed rehab for all areas of the body. The therapy was much less challenging than prior agencies provided. After 11 calendar days the therapist declared"no progress" and recommended discharge. The evaluating therapist was judgemental, dismissive and condescending toward the caregiver. The therapy provided was not worth the stress.

Have had 5 home visits after hip replacement surgery. Therapist stay was 15 minutes at the longest. Others were 10 minutes.

needed home health care and was unsure at first, late Saturday evening release from hospital and the nurse on call said she would come no matter what time it was and she did with compassion and professionalism to change my wound vac. Have had visits weekly for months and cannot say enough good both from the nursing staff and rehab therapy.

I was so pleased with the care given by everyone on their staff. The professionals that helped me were kind and caring and gave me lots of great information. I am happy to recommend this company.

Thank God someone at my father's assisted living center recommended Care Connection of Cincinnati to me. Case manager/RN Elizabeth is beyond wonderful. She cares so much about dad. Same for Physical Therapist Duane; he's beyond wonderful, too. He texted me with updates regularly which was much appreciated living out on the west cost. What a comfort to know this agency is available when we need them!

My nurse comes three days a week. she always calls the day before and coordinates a time that is convenient for my wife and I. She is very professional and efficient in her duties. She has either answered my questions or found out the answer if she did not already know the answer.

The hospital set up Care Connection to come to my home after my loved one's hospital stay. I naively thought they had come to help; actually, the RNs were condescending and demeaning, both to myself and to my loved one. There was nothing one of their RNs did that couldn't have been done better by a compassionate LPN or Aide. The RNs did not care to help me rehabilitate my loved one to bring him back to baseline, as the hospital had supposedly been doing before they released him. Care Connection came in to collect a fee and do as little as possible, with zero sense of urgency. There is no respect for the caregiver. No one from the Agency ever asked me for any detailed information about my loved one's baseline nor did they apply any medical knowledge that could have helped him get better, particularly since the hospital had made grave errors in medication upon his discharge. Had I known this was how Care Connection operated, I never would have allowed them in my home. Be very cautious; the more fragile your loved one's condition, the more harm these types of indifferent medical personnel will do.

The staff are great, but I have been without services a couple of times. Scheduling problems, I can only assume.
