The Carriage Court of Grove City looked nice. They had recently painted the entire interior and were replacing all the carpet, so it was looking nice. I toured a couple of the rooms where people were living and how they had them decorated, and they looked nice and they looked spacious. The person who accommodated me during the tour was very nice, I liked her a lot. She was very, very helpful, she kept in touch with us, and gave us all the information we needed. I saw their dining area, it looks nice and clean and it was big, but I did not try the food. I saw a bunch of the residents getting on the shuttle bus and heading out for lunch. So they're excited about that, that was fun. They've got a lot of activities scheduled there. I met a bunch of the people that worked there and everybody was friendly. The facilities looked very clean. However, it was a little cluttered because they were still replacing the carpet but the section they have done looks nice.

Carriage Court of Grove City was very nice. The people were very nice and the place was very clean. They're very, very willing to help us out with the paperwork and make sure that's good too. They've got a lot of arts and crafts stuff to keep your mind occupied, so that's that was one thing that we like.

I love Carriage Court of Grove City. What I liked the best were the people. They're very friendly and welcoming, not just the employees, but also the people who were living there. The facility was beautiful, clean, and very welcoming. It was very easy for people in wheelchairs to be able to get in, get out, and go through the entire area. They have a fenced in backyard where residents can go out. They have a large patio, and there's also a grassy area that they can walk in if they choose to. It's got a nice size fence that keeps outsiders out and also protects privacy. It's like a privacy fence, so people can't see the folks that are out there. They have rooms for games that were welcoming. They had books that are available for residents to borrow. They had a great dining room. There were people out doing things.

My parent is a current resident of the facility. My parents room has not been cleaned in over 3 weeks, there is mold and mildew in the shower, the toilet was caked with feces when it had not been cleaned. Old dried up food was in her sink. There is no Activities Director so residents are not led in activities. They do not have a chef on staff so they eat lots of hot dogs, sandwiches. They do not have a resident housekeeper. My parents laundry is often lost and is not done on the scheduled day of the week they were given. The residents are paying for these services and they are not being provided. I have photos to back up my claims.

Carriage Court of Grove City was somewhat smaller in the lobby than the other place, but then it's not a very big place. I have to say that they met us at the door, we sat down and talked. The boss came and talked to us for a while. They made a deep impression on me because I felt that they care about their people. The staff who gave us the tour was very thorough and he gave us a lot of insight. The dining room looked beautiful. Everything looked clean. The residents seem very happy where they're at all. The facilities are excellent. They have basic like food. They have a kitchen and a dining room. A lot of the residents in that assisted living can get around very well. They were all sitting out there congregated right outside the dining room waiting for lunch, and we were chit-chatted as we were going through, so it was nice.

We chose Carriage Court of Grove City for Mom because of the location. She likes it. She feels comfortable, and she likes the surroundings. The activities are really good. The staff is very nice and attentive. The food has not been great, but it's been OK. I would recommend them because people are out in the living areas a lot, they are using the activities, and they're out amongst each other and not hiding in their rooms. She enjoys what she's doing there.

Carriage Court of Grove City was wonderful. It's a good place and my mother liked it. They had very nice people, it was pleasant, clean, and they keep you busy. The rooms were very nice and she liked them. They're good sized for a chair or whatever she wanted to put in there. The dining area was big with individual tables; it looked very clean, it's like a big kitchen, and it looked very nice. They had music, game days, church, a bus to take them on outings, and a garden area. It was very pleasant and it looked very much like a home.

I loved the Carriage Court of Grove City. The people were very good to my friend. She is a little cantankerous of her having to be there, but the staff was really nice. The food was good, her room was clean, and it was a nice size. She had her own bed, her chest of drawers, a big TV, a lounge chair, desks, and stuff in the living room, and then there was a little microwave and a kitchen cabinet sink. It was very homey. They had card games, Bingo, exercise, and quite a bit of stuff going on, and everybody seemed happy. I went out in the area with her where they were getting ready to go to the lunch room, and the lunch room looked like a big cafeteria that was set up really nicely with the round tables and decorated really pretty with little flowers on the tables. They had something that you could order; if you didn’t like what they had, you could order something else.

Carriage Court was nice. We only talked to one staff person, and it was good; they were knowledgeable. The grounds were nice, and the location is good -- about 20 minutes away from my home. It would be a good place for just about anyone, except that for two people the rooms were small. But other than that, it was really nice, and the residents seemed happy.

My dad is now in hospice at Carriage Court. It has been an excellent experience financially, spiritually, emotionally, and physically. In every way, I would not say one unkind thing about it. It has been excellent. The staff is wonderful and very supportive.

I was at Carriage Court Assisted Living for three weeks on a trial basis. The staff was very good. Everybody was very friendly and helpful. The food was also good. The programs were good. I was there during the Christmas season, and there are a lot of churches and organizations coming in to conduct programs. There are pretty much a lot of things going on. They also took the residents on mini trips. If I had to live somewhere, I would live there.
