At St. Leonard, we like the feel of the place. My loved one has adjusted very quickly to it. They have a wide variety of activities that are geared to the needs of many residents there.

I went to St. Leonard (St. Leonard Franciscan Living Community). It was outrageously expensive. It would be fine if you’re a Rockefeller or a retired politician. It was outrageous. They want you to buy into the cottages, and they want you to pay for the gym and the personal trainer. There was a 2-hour marketing presentation. I didn’t see the rooms, and the lady I was with said, “Oh my God! I can’t afford this.” But the grounds were beautiful. They had lots of amenities, and they had lots of transportation. They had lots of stuff for you if you could afford it. I would give it a 3 because of the marketing tactics. I just thought the whole thing was silly.

St. Leonard Franciscan Living Community is giving my wife all the care she needs and the staff has good working attitude. The room of my wife have a bed and bath, closet area and a room for her own furniture. The dining room was very well taken care of too. The food seems good because she eats it well and it looks appetizing. They have some people who come in and sing. They have some activities and television with movies that they show to the residents.
