I'm living here in StoryPoint Pickerington now. They're very caring people, very concerned about the conditions and the restrictions that are on my life from the medical aspect of things, and very helpful and fulfilling responsibilities for comfort, security, assistance, and things like that. They really strive to do well with the food. We have an exercise room and they have bingo and things like that for people to go that challenge you to interact with people. There are some activities where they'll go, take you to the store and things like that as needed. We have gone to a couple of activities outside and they have a bus, and we've gone in that bus to some of the activities, to kind of broaden our perspective on things. The apartment is kept clean weekly. There are cleaning staff that comes in, clean up, and arrange things for us. They will assist with personal needs and things like that if needed, making the bed and even helping with the showers and things like that. There are people that are certified to be able to do that for people that might need that kind of assistance as well. They try to keep the facility in a good, top-notch situation. They have a library. There's a reading room for people that want a little more privacy. There's a small meeting area for folks that might want to do, like a small group study, or something like that. They have a family room area where you come with a fireplace there and you can sit and chat and talk and things like that. And they have a small, I guess you would call it like a breakfast nook, where there are some smart finger foods, hand foods, things like that available, coffee, hot chocolate, and some water. There's a small gym area. They had several weeks back. They had a couple of sprinkler heads that froze up because of the drop in temperature. And so they are working on the exercise facility where the water got in and damaged some of the carpeting and some of the things there they're working on. They're working on a couple of other rooms that were also damaged by the water. And they've been working on that now for about a week and a half, they've had to do a lot of ceiling replacement painting, where they're trying to prevent bacterial growth and things like that.

StoryPoint Pickerington had nice apartments, nice and clean facilities with lots of activities, and the people seemed happy. The staff that I met during the tour was very friendly and helpful. It was very bright, clean, and nicely decorated. We didn't eat there but we saw the dining area and they had a little event going on, it was someone's birthday or something there, so it was very nice and clean. They have art, music, a library, movies, and outings, they've got everything.

The facility is very clean and well maintained. The staff is friendly and very helpful. There are many daily activities for residents to participate in. The only complaint we have is that work orders for room repairs are not done in a timely matter. Many times we've had to remind the management that the work in question still has not been taken care of.

StoryPoint is a safe place for my 85 years young mother. She has several daily activities to choose from along with meals served restaurant style. Constant daily interactions with staff and residents help with the loneliness that resulted in apartment life after becoming a widow. The community is a 10 out of 10 on cleanliness. Her living space is a tiny home replica of her previous apartment. I tell everyone that mom enjoys her resort style living.

The staff was wonderful and helping us move mom in and get her situated. Lauris has been accommodating and helpful. Everyone, from the cleaning people to the receptionists, to the administrative staff have been great. Love all the activities.

One of the newer facilities in Pickerington. Good location that is close to grocery stores and restaurants. Good food and available to residents easily. Nice community rooms. Lots of activities to participate in. Staff is really friendly and welcoming.

Alot of different floor plans to look at. Recommend knowing your budget and have and an idea of what must have furniture you want to bring. Staff was and has been responsive to my questions. StoryPoint Pickertington is in a great location. Close to stores, banks and medical institutions. For my family the dining amenity has been fantastic.

Love this facility. It has been such a blessing to our family to have a safe comfortable place for Mom. I have noticed the common area facilities are not as clean as they used to be. The elevators have never been cleaned. Specifically the floors of the elevators. I am not impressed with the “Laurus” nightly staff. I do not feel they reflect the excellence that Sycamore/Story Point has always upheld. I do want to give props to Sharon and Debbie at the front desk. They are AMAZING!! Thank you all for all you do!

First, I want to say that the only reason I didn’t give five stars, is because I feel that we can always improve… StoryPoint Pickerington has been a God send for my aunt, who really didn’t need to be in a nursing facility, but was unable to maintain her house on her own. Since moving into StoryPoint she has required some extended services and has done very well under Laurus services her overall health has improved since she is getting her meds as prescribed. The care givers are warm, friendly and loving toward her. I am unable to spend as much time with her as I would like due to outside obligations with work, family and also assisting my 90 year old father, I am comforted to know that she is in the care of StoryPoint Pickerington and Laurus.

I wish the cost to live there was not so expensive. I know it causes my parents a lot of stress. I think they do enjoy it there, and they do enjoy the different activities.

My dad has been a resident at Storypoint Pickerington for 3 years. He, overall, really likes it here. I am his daughter and I am here everyday. Storypoint is a very inviting and the staff are very nice. They have resident ambassadors that help you get to know your surroundings, introduce you to other residents and more. They provide a range of activities for those who enjoy being social. Only downfall is when they cancel an activity, they don't always have a good way to get the cancellation information to the residents. If your really picky about food, the menu may be a bit challenging, but if you like just about anything, the menu is great. The maintenance men are pretty on top of things. If they have to order a part it will take longer though. Housekeeping does light housekeeping in your appartment every other week, if you choose to take advantage it's included in the rent. Our location is without an Executive Director right now, but other Executive Directors are filling in till they can hire someone. In the mean time it seems to be running as smoothly as it can. As for current residents, many enjoy living here. You have a wide range of personalities and yes, a choice few are grumpy. If you need extra help with daily activities, for example, help getting up in the morning with assistance getting dressed or reminders to take medicine. Laurus provides these services and they are an in house daily care company. They are here 24/7 and offer different packages to taylor to what you need. This is not included in the rent. Overall the apartments are very nice and have a wide variety of floor plans. If this sounds inviting call and ask for Sue, she'll tell you all about us.

Storypoint offers a variety of room options that are spacious and updated. Kitchens have granite countertops and stainless appliances. Master bedroom closet is spacious with washer and dryer. The staff is always friendly and helpful. My dad has been happy here and enjoys the food and all amenities (exercise room, activities, and outings).

I love the community. The staff is friendly the events are fabulous. Food is excellent. It is clean and inviting.

We moved my aunt in. We chose them because it's easily accessible from where we live, we were looking for staff that was caring about the residents, and I wanted a nice, comfortable environment that was cared for and had various activities. They have a gym, a library, a movie theater, and a beauty parlor. They just recently started making some changes with meal service.

The staff is friendly and caring . The rooms are perfect . The community offers good food, friends, and activities..couldn't ask for anything more for my Dad !
