Nice place if you can get a second floor apartment. On the first floor it always sounds like you live under a horse barn. Building is not well soundproofed. Food is good though always delivered to the room cold. Not bad, usually ok to eat. I don't know if they have an on-site, sit down restaurant. Local cab service, is available with restaurants and groceries nearby. Close to the old mall (I don't know if mall is still open.)
It has been well over a year since I was there so things may have changed.

My mother and my sister moved into the Primrose Retirement Community of Findlay. It's very good. The staff has been wonderful, very accommodating, and very welcoming. A really good experience so far. The food is good. They don't have gluten-free necessarily for my sister. My sister's gluten sensitive, but other than that, it's been good. We chose it for availability. But the presentation, and the director and the staff, the initial meetings and whatever, were very professional. Everything is great. They're in a two-bedroom apartment, which is very spacious. There's a laundry on the same floor. It's a very nice facility. I believe they've done a Western cowboy hoedown, which my sister loved. And they've had a couple of ice cream socials. Then they have some other physical activities like yoga and those types of classes.

My mother has moved into Primrose into a very nice studio apartment. The location is great. The place is beautiful. The staff members are friendly and helpful. Overall, it is good. The cost, is equivalent to others that I looked at.

Primrose of Findlay was very nice -- the place was very nice, and the personnel were very nice. I think that I could live there very easily. My husband is currently in the hospital, and we were looking for possibly him, but his health status has really changed, so it probably is not going to be a possibility at this time. But it is certainly a lovely facility, and in the future I would certainly give it a consideration. I talked to their chef, and I was impressed with his planning for food, and the meals would have been excellent. They had a chapel, a social hour, a bar, an ice-cream parlor, a library, and a movie theater. They just have a lot of amenities.

My first impression was WOW! Is this really an assisted living facility? It looked and felt more like a top notch hotel! The dining area was beautiful, they have their own pub, ice cream shop and movie theater! I was so impressed at the friendliness of the staff and the beautiful atmosphere!
