About This Community
Liberty Residence II is our Assisted Living community with nursing care 24-7. We want our residents to remain as independent as they can - but when they need the help, we are there to help with daily assistance. We can help with bathing, dressing, cueing, incontinence care, medication management plus more. Our goal is for residents to age with dignity, grace and with the help they deserve.

My brothers quality of life has improved so much since becoming a resident at this facility. He enjoys the activities and the staff treats him with respect and care. I would highly recommend this facility.

My mother-in-law is at Liberty Residence, and we're very happy with it. They had all kinds of activities before COVID. They take them out to places, and they do all kinds of things. They also offer all the basic amenities, and I think the food is fine. We're very, very happy there.

My aunt is in Liberty Residence II. The staff is OK. Some things could be better, but we're working with them. The rooms are nice. They have people coming in to play music, which is a good thing for her because she has dementia. The food is OK. It's a nice facility.

Liberty Residence II was nice. They had a dining area, TV room, and a very clean library with lots of books. The residents looked happy. The rooms were clean and had a refrigerator, microwave, and sink.

The lady that was at Liberty Residence II was very intelligent and very much in charge of things. We always asked what is the average age of the people, and when she said that the average age was 85, I said, "Uh-oh." I want to be able to have conversations with people, play cards, laugh, and so forth and so on. The residents were asleep in their chairs, and 20 minutes later, they’re still sleeping in the chair. At the end of the day, they’re still asleep in that chair. It’s not my type of place. Everything was nice. The staff was very nice. As a matter of fact, only one out of all the people actually sent me a written card later thanking me for coming and hoping that she would see us again and so forth and so on. That stuck in my mind. That was something that I would suggest that all of the places do. Activities were not so good because it was mostly things like bingo, Bible study, story time, and let’s-reminisce-the past, and so forth.

We looked at several independent/assisted living facilities near Wadsworth. We moved my 91 year old step-mother inthis past December. Her suite is small, but very pleasant and comfortable. As she says, "It's just right for me!" She enjoys the freedom she now has with no cooking or cleaning necessary. She also enjoys the food! The meals I've shared with her were very good. She's feeling so much better since she's getting good nutrition now, and not filling up on sweets etc. Liberty bent over backwards to help us transition her. As I said, we looked at several facilities, but what sold us on Liberty was the staff. While we were touring the place, the Admissions Director knew and greeted every single resident we ran into, and actually knew them we'll enough to introduce them to us in a way that instigated conversation. Another example of the genuine carrying exhibited by the staff came on my step mother 91st birthday less this 1 month after she moved in. We came back from her family birthday lunch, and the receptionist and a gal from the dining room had bought her a balloon with a little candy bar attached, and sang happy birthday to her in the lobby!! I highly recommend the place. We are going to try to get my elderly aunt and uncle in there as soon as possible now too.

My mom is at Liberty Residence II and she is being well taken care of. They are all absolute angels. They are constantly smiling and very loving. They treat everyone as if it’s their family member. The food and the atmosphere is great. They don’t let the residents stay in their rooms as they have constant activities for them, from exercise to helping the chef with baking. They are probably more active than they would be in a home setting. They are constantly busy. They have exercise and walking. They have storytelling, music, sing along. They have an in-house library, they have preschool children coming to visit, and therapy dogs visiting. They also do crafts. My mother is doing great there.
