The people at Spring Hills Singing Woods were very nice, but they want you to pay for two years, and I can't afford that. They still call me and they've dropped stuff off here at my house, invited me to the Halloween and everything, but it's too far and the money is the reason I can't go there. They took us through both assisted living and memory care. The rooms were nice and stuff, but I can't move for two years out-of-pocket. They were nice. It seemed like they had a lot of activities and the people were nice out there. They had ice cream and singing, and people were out with the piano. They had someone to do their hair and they had a therapy room there. The facility looked nice. The rug in the living area didn't look that great, but they were getting ready to replace that. I haven't been down there since then. It's right there on I-48 and there was Myers and they were close to the hospital. The rooms were nice and bright. They talked nicely to the residents. I would have maybe considered it if it was a little bit closer, but I also don't like where they force you to pay for 24 months. That amount of price is too much for somebody to dig out.

We toured Spring Hills Singing Woods. The community looks very clean. It was very nice. They greeted us very well. The room that we toured was almost on the small side, but it had a separate little bedroom and a living room area with a little door that went out to a patio, so it was very nice. The staff took us into a room. She went over everything that applied to my sister's needs. She informed us that for assisted living, you had to be there for a year doing the spend down before they would accept the Medicaid waiver. She showed us around the facility and also one of the rooms that were empty while we were there. We were there around 9:30 in the morning, so we didn't see anybody doing activities.

Moved my Mom in just a few weeks ago, but will be moving her back out. I have tried numerous time to get in touch with the Executive Director by phone call and email regarding concerns that I have. She is never in the building and does not return messages. These things probably could have been resolved as I realize she is in a transition period but I have no confidence that if the Director cannot handle small issues, she definitely won't handle a big one if it comes along. So disappointing as this community had great reviews and I had high hopes. Carrie and Jordan were great in the move in process and Concierge, Kaitlyn has tried to help as much as possible. But time to move on.

Spring Hills Singing Woods is clean. I like their landscaping with a really pretty gazebo in there. I think they have two courtyards and they're very secure, nobody can just come in. We toured their assisted living. The staff was very friendly and extremely helpful. They're just very sweet, helpful, very knowledgeable, and very friendly. They sent me an email about their menu and I was quite impressed with that. The residents have a lot of variety to choose from each day and they even have a fresh vegetable garden. They provide meals, laundry, medical services and they have a nursing staff there. Their rooms are bigger than the ones and I love that each room has its own patio.

I toured Spring Hills Singing Woods, and I like the way it's laid out. I like the rooms because they were spacious, and I like the facilities that they have to offer. When I say facilities, for example, they have space there for refrigerators, microwaves, and they have a regular size kitchen in the area that clients can use to cook if they like. I'm a baker, and it was appealing to me because I like to bake stuff. The features are nice, the staff was very nice, good people. They have a pool room where you could shoot pool, and stuff, I was impressed with that. It felt homey to me, and of course, the staff makes the place homey and not space. I was impressed, it's homey enough. It's not like home but it's homey enough. The one thing that I like is, I'm a vegetarian, and I asked them if they serve vegetarian meals, they said yes, which I was very interested in. On the day that I was there, it was very clean.

I visited Spring Hills Singing Woods for my in-laws. The place was very equal to what they have on their website in terms of visual appeal, what they have, the activities they have for the seniors, and how the assisted living apartment was set up. The staff seemed very nice, although I did not get to talk to them personally, because of Covid, it is kind of restricted. The manager was very nice to me in checking up on us even after we decided that we will not go there; he still checks up on us. It is very conducive to what the some of the seniors would need but still helping them to stay as independent as they can. I think that they can match majority of the elderly needs, and they have different levels, and they can do it all the from the lowest to the highest level.

Although my mother was only there for a few months before the isolation went into effect, I was very impressed with everything about Spring Hills Singing Woods. From the staff, to the food and activities, I couldn't have asked for more. I saw her really blossom after she moved in, as opposed to how she was when she was living alone in her home. I can't wait for things to get back to "normal" so she can eat in the dining room with the friends she had made, get her hair done, and play Bingo again! Thanks to all the "Angels" who have made her time there as enjoyable as it can be.

My brother is in Spring Hills Singing Woods, and it's been a very positive experience. The staff is warm and friendly. The accommodations are very good. He likes it there. They don't season the food a lot, but it's good. Everybody's friendly there. They change the menu weekly, and there's a nice variety. The dining area is neat and clean. I wish they had more tables, but we always find a place to sit. I would recommend it. We looked at several places, but my sister and I said this place feels right for my brother. We felt that he would be happy there. It sits back off a main road and there's nothing behind it, so it's real peaceful. They have two big courtyards that they can walk in if they want to. It's very nice and clean, and they have lots of activities.

I really liked Spring Hills Singing Woods, but it was too far for me to drive. The lady that I talked to was very good in explaining things. I liked their overall philosophy of care. The rooms were a little bit smaller than where my parents were before.

Spring Hills is out of our consideration because it is far away from where l live. However, they had the standard amenities, three meals a day, and 24-hour nursing availability.

I really liked Spring Hills Singing Woods a lot. It had a nice feel to it. The people there seemed to be happy, and it had nice grounds. The building itself was very nice. The only problem was its location was the worst of all as far as accessibility for me. It would have been 45 plus minutes for me to get there to visit with my parents.

We toured Spring Hills Singing Woods. The person who took us around was very personable and nice. The facility was clean. The residents were out and about in their wheelchairs and seemed to be socializing. The dining facility looked clean and nice. The tour was very pleasant. They would take Medicaid waiver, so when my mother-in-law ran out of money, they would keep her on Medicaid. If they hadn’t had a waiting list, I probably would have opted to take her there. However, they had a waiting list and I needed a place right away because they were getting ready to discharge her from rehab. The rooms seemed to be adequate, but I thought the floor plan on one of them was a little odd since it was in a horse shoe shape, and had an enclosed outdoor area, which was nice because she could go outdoors but not get away. They also had nice, regular, rectangular-shaped rooms with a nice bath, which would have been more acceptable and less money. They were doable since it was average-priced. The staff showed us the activity room and might have given me a calendar. Overall, I thought it was a pretty nice place.

My father knew about Spring Hills ahead of time, as he is a pastor, and serves different facilities. It’s a wonderful place. The staff is extremely helpful, and totally available. Whenever you need them they tried to make him feel comfortable. The food is delicious, and lots of activities if you want to participate in them. Just a wonderful place. The way they organize everything is really nice. The apartment is very nice too. It doesn’t seem really big, but when you put the furniture in there’s still plenty of space. It also has a patio, gazebo, and all kinds of greenery. The building is like built in a circle, and the inside is the ground.

My sister has been at Spring Hills Singing Woods for two months. I'm very happy with her care. She is happy and says this is where I need to be. She is in the first stages of dementia. The staff was so helpful getting us in and settled. I talked to three places and this one was the most helpful and told me things for future to help.

Spring Hills Singing Woods is an excellent facility. The rooms are much larger. Basically they’re a little higher but the price includes a lot of items that were a la carte at the other place. Their additional services are based on the level of care. They have very friendly people and very homey atmosphere. It is a nice location. My mother is now on a waiting list there.

The quality of service they provide is very high. Consistency of care is a concern, because communication between nursing staff and activity staff can be challenging. I feel like I need to express to each staff member individually what our expectations are; that becomes exhausting at times. We are very happy with mom’s care. We just feel like it could be even better.

My initial visit to Spring Hills was wonderful. Tessa was very informative and took plenty of time to answer my questions and inquire about my mother and our family. There was a feeling of empathy not a hard sell approach. I observed cleanliness, a pleasant atmosphere and staff engaging with the residents. The list of activities and dining amenities are impressive. I feel confident that this will be a wonderful place for my mom and provide her with the "home like" atmosphere that I desire. I also know that I now have time to plan, prepare and transition when that time comes. Thanks to Tessa and Beth for a truly positive experience.

After seeing spring hills didn't feel we had to look anywhere else! It was so perfect for my brother in law, with courtyard, & gardens that I could not contain my excitement! Had no idea we could find a place like that. His greatest love is gardening, flowers, & his yard. I was sad to think he wouldn't have, this spring. Beth & staff were super! We have put a deposit on a lovely apt. & can't wait to show him!!!

Words cannot express how much we appreciated the great care from the Executive Director, Dee, the Director of Resident Care, Amy and all the staff gave our Dad and us during a very difficult time. The nurses and caregivers were very attentive to our needs. The nurses went above and beyond caring for our Dad and were compassionate to us. The staff works very hard to care for the residents. We definetely recommend SpringHills Singing Woods to anyone who needs that extra special care. Jennifer & Debbie

This community is peaceful and friendly and safe for me to dwell. I am an artist and poet who has painted a full water color tablet of the beautiful surrounding scenery and have written poetry. I've made friends. Delicious food and dining, good attention from staff, and lots of activities and holiday displays and events. I love it here.

I recently took a tour of SpringHills Singing Woods. I was so impressed with the friendly staff and how everyone made you feel so welcome the moment you walked in the door. It has such a home-like atmosphere. We have chose to make this Dad's new home. He also toured and felt it was a good match. I have toured other assisted living buildings and did not get the feel that I did from Singing Woods. They are clearly the best in the area. If you are looking for Assisted Living for your loved one I would strongly encourage you to visit Singing Woods.

My sister was a resident for nearly 2 years. My first day I walked through this place I felt at home. I knew without a doubt I had found a safe, clean, home for my sister. Their food is the best! Very clean, very kind staff all of them are team players, which shows me the director has it together with a fantastic crew. My sister finally had to move with her dementia worsening. It was a sad day when we had to say goodbye to all the staff and those who live There have became a part of our extended family. We will never find a better, more functioning home than Spring Hills Singing Woods of Dayton. Thank each one of you for being a part of my families journey in this phase called "life"...

This past weekend I was able to see all the care and commitment the employees of Singing Woods has. We were invited to an Easter luncheon and Easter Egg Hunt on Saturday. It was wonderful and everyone had such a great time. We could tell that much hard work and planning went in to the event. It was obvious that the management and employees truly care about their residents. Thanks again for such a special day, you really out did yourselves and it truly was a blessing to see grandma so happy!

I am an occupational therapist with an outside company. I visit many communities on a regular basis to see my patients. Singing Woods is a community that I am at very frequent. From my observations the residents are very well cared for, the nursing staff and management staff is very friendly and professional. It is a clean and inviting atmosphere and the residents really seem to enjoy living there. I would recommend this community to any of my clients.

Spring Hills Singing Woods was very nice and it had a lot of character. We thought it was wonderful and the food was good too. When my sister was there, they messed up her medications. She wanted to go to the hospital because of her cough but they did not take her. So her daughter came and took her to the hospital and she had pneumonia. I slept there a couple of nights and I thought there was no camaraderie between the help.
