The 10 Wilmington Place was the most impressive facility of all of the ones I toured. They seemed to have a lot more staff available and a lot of things to offer. They had a movie theater that no else had. They had activities centered around the community, like pizza night and different things. There seemed to be more of them and in different locations. It was a much bigger building than any of the others, so they had more opportunities. The person that took us on the tour (as we went up and down the halls from floor-to-floor) didn't see a person that she didn't know by name.
They had room options. There was a studio and a studio deluxe, which was just slightly bigger where you can tuck a bed back into a wall, like a hotel room. I didn't see anything that was lacking. They had variations in the menus and the meals from day-to-day. There was a whole month's worth that we could see. It was not very repetitive.
There was a lot of staff around that were even not aware that we were there, but the way they were interacting with the residents seemed to be so positive. It was very encouraging to whoever they were dealing with. You could tell that made a difference. There was no one there that I would feel uncomfortable with. It was the most impressive facility in a lot of ways including the exterior, the cleanliness, and the architecture. Everything about the building was topnotch. I am ready to go live there.

I went to 10 Wilmington Place and they were very friendly when we got there. The staff took us to the conference room and had the brochure ready, and all the information ready to explain everything to us. Then we went on a tour of the facility. They offer a little bit more than the other place I toured. They have a ton of activities, all kinds of rooms, they even have a bowling alley and a theater room. They have a lot of activities to offer but it's also a higher price there too. That makes it a little bit out of the range of what we would be looking for, but there's nothing negative about it at all. It's a beautiful facility, the grounds are beautiful and the rooms we saw were the studio size, the 1-bedroom, and 2-bedroom. It's all very nice, and the accommodations were very nice. We haven't had the food but they have a chef there.

I liked 10 Wilmington Place. It was very homey. I loved it. They had a bar in there, which I thought was neat with a big-screen TV. The time that I toured it, I think it was close to like Super Bowl time, and they were getting ready to have a Super Bowl party in the bar. They had a lot of social gathering-type areas that I thought were cool. They have these cool patio settings where they had these nice big rocking chairs that you see at the Cracker Barrel. They had nice furniture out on these patios that overlooked like this lawn with these beautiful willow trees. It was like the setting that you imagined in your head what an old folk's home would be like. I just thought it was beautiful, the scenery from those verandas or patios or balconies. Each resident outside of their rooms had a little shelf, and they could decorate it how they wanted to do. Some of the ones had pictures of their grandkids. I thought the little apartments were nice. These older people were playing Wii bowling and just having a good old time. I just loved the place. It was super cool. If I was an old person, that's where I would love to go. I thought it was really neat, but Mom and Dad wouldn't go there because that place used to be where they housed the psychiatric patients. It was like the psychiatric place of the 40s or 50s or 60s or whatever it was. So, Mom thought it was probably haunted. I thought the place was cool. For me, if I was an old person, I would love those patios because it was just gorgeous looking out at that lawn and those willow trees.

We like 10 Wilmington Place Retirement Community a lot, they just did not have memory care available at the time. The staff showed us the assisted living apartments as well. The facility was beautiful, very well-kept, clean, and very attractive. They had a very full activity calendar and it seemed like their dining area was very attractive. I have eaten there before and it used to be open to the public as well. Their food is very good. The rooms seem to be clean and appropriately accommodating, and this was assisted living. The memory care unit I didn't care for, because it seemed a little dark, and a lot of them were semi-private, which we were not interested in. The staffing ratios are pretty much the same across the board with most places. It's a beautiful, historic building. It's really beautiful on the outside and in the main general areas.

The price at 10 Wilmington Place Retirement Community was too high. The facility seemed clean and fine, and they provided- I believe, two meals. The staff who gave the tour was fine. They had activities like Wii sports and bowling. They have a chapel and a dining hall. They seemed to offer all the services that an assisted living person would want.

My tour at 10 Wilmington Place was lovely, and I enjoyed it. The staff who assisted me during the tour was wonderful; I forget her name, but she was really good. The room was really nice, the building was lovely, and everything was wonderful. It smelled good, it was warm, and they explained everything. I'd give the cleanliness a "ten" if I were to rate it from one to ten; it's very good. They had movies, they had bowling, they can go off site sometimes on a little bus, and they'd go to Walmart. I haven't eaten any of the food yet, but they have a nice chef, and the food is looking good. I like it because they feed you on the premises; I don't have to go out and buy my food.

We toured 10 Wilmington Place. We couldn't go in the room, they didn't have anything available, but we saw the outside, inside, entrance, we met in the conference room, and looked at everything else on the computer, on the website, and stuff. The staff was very nice.

10 Wilmington Place was very large, about three or four stories, and there was a lot of walking involved. They offered significantly more activities than the other places we visited, but the size would be overwhelming. The rooms were very nice, spacious, clean, and affordable. They have two actual movie theaters, a men's club, and several card clubs.

My mom is in 10 Wilmington Place. It is a beautiful Victorian building and very affordable. I am impressed at how nice and how affordable it is. I will recommend it. However, the only concern I have is that it is in the area that may have high crime. Outside of that, I really think it is great.

My visit at 10 Wilmington Place was very good. They gave me brochures, and the lobby was very nice. It was a very large facility because it used to be a hospital. The rooms were very nice, clean, and didn't smell bad. It was staffed well. The price was really expensive but fairly reasonable. I met the sales representative, and she was helpful, informative, and clearly told me everything they had to offer.

The friendliness of the staff and the residents in 10 Wilmington Place was really different, and I liked it. It was a beautifully furnished facility. They found us a beautiful room with lots of storage.

Wilmington Place is very nice, and the rooms are OK. They’re a little bit on the small side, but the grounds are fantastic. It’s beautiful because it’s upon a hill and surrounded by a lot of acreage. When we were there, it seemed to be clean.

We visited three facilities, and my favorite was Wilmington Place. The staff seemed to be very caring.
The facility had tons of stuff for people to do. The thing that I noticed about this particular place was everyone was outdoing stuff. They had a bar and movie theater. Everybody looked happy, that was what I have noticed that I haven’t seen in any other place.
The rooms were nice; the 1-bedroom was very spacious, nice, and very clean. I haven’t tried the food, but I know a couple of friends whose parents have been there, and their chef has been there for 10 years. The security was very good.

I went to 10 Wilmington Place one time. It was a larger facility compared to the others I visited. But I preferred a small place. It was also in town and I did not want to drive a lot. They had a chef and the food was very good. The price was also a little higher than the others.
