My father was in the hospital and we were looking for a place for Rehab. See, I live in central Ohio and was looking for somewhere close to home. I left my father's bedside to get some coffee from the cafeteria and when I got back to his room. There was this tall woman with her hair looking crazy and was wearing glasses ,standing over my father's bed. My father looked so scared and was pale white. I asked this women to step away from my father's bed. She then continued to introduce herself as Deidre and that she was trying to speak my father about skilled rehab. My father agitation increased and I ringed for the nurses to come. I told Deidre to leave immediately. It took some haldol and Ativan to calm my father down. So unprofessional and I was most disappointed by how she fail to acknowledge that her presence was agitating my father. We chose another facility and I would not recommend Arlington Court especially if their liaison does not have good on-site manners. Very disappointed!!!!!!

My mother is currently at Arlington Court Skilled Nursing & Rehab Center, and it's been good. I haven't had problems with them. They're trying to give her skilled care and take care of her. The staff has always been very helpful to me and informative. She mostly eats in her room, and she likes most of it. However, it's hard for me to call and contact them and sometimes they don't answer the phone, but most of the time, it's pretty good. The food is really good. It's a beautiful facility. They're doing a good progress with her.

My mom had great care during her stay. From the time she arrived to the time she was discharged safely home, everyone assisted her. Thank you to the helpful nurses and aides.

DO NOT send your loved one here! My dear grandma was left sitting in soiled clothing for at least three days. When my mother came to visit her, she demanded my grandmother be changed...only to reveal sores from God knows what. This isn't the first time this happened. When my sister visited, my grandmother soiled her self and sat there for what seemed like forever while my sister waited for someone to help. When someone finally came, they just left her there with no pants. They didn't give her a shower or change her soiled sheets. DISGRACEFUL. I cannot believe the shameful behavior of the employees here!

The facility on occasion smells like urine when entering. The rooms are fair sized and clean with individual climate controls. The staff and nurses may be overworked some are ok others just rude for no reason. The call alarm is often on for extended minutes when someone needs help. Pain management is many times slow while patients lie in pain or have to go to get their own meds and then be ignored by nursing staff. The food is fair to good with small portions guess it depends on your tastes. There seems to be conflict among the nurses on who wants to deal with patients. I know the feeling since dealing with children and adults while teaching and at work. The courtyard is nice and offers a meeting place away from the room and visiting hours are accommodating.

I had a relative at Arlington Court a few months back and the care was phenomenal! From nursing, Therapy, the social worker...everyone! The facility was always warm and inviting, very family oriented and clean, and the employees worked as a team to get my brother back to optimal health. I even ate there a few times and the food was delicious! I would recommend this facility to anyone looking for a rehab from surgery and even as a long term home. Job well done to all!

Tumultuous relationship with Arlington Court. Doctor refused to write an order for a hospital bed for my wheelchair bound parent to use following discharge. Lobby smells like urine. Some staff members are personable and people oriented. A few need to be trained how to speak to elderly, confused people in a gentle, reassuring manner. My parent was spoken to like they were deaf (not deaf). I observed one new aide speaking to the residents as though they were naughty children, not frail older people (the aide would speak in a demanding, loud voice to out of it old people; (I observed the aide snapping at an old woman that the shrubs outside are "SHRUBS, NOT CHRISTMAS TREES!"---does it really matter if an old lady mistakenly thinks that shrubs are Christmas trees? I think its more important to be kind and just go with the flow...

Excellent place for our loved ones, I had experiences with many nursing homes, this is the best one , patient nurse ratio is reasonable, good care. My dad is being taken good care of, he is very happy, so does my family.

Did not maintain fathers peg tube. Continually allowed peg tube to remain open while almost entire bottles of formula puddled in bed. Did not put at proper elevation after numerous requests and allowed formula to run into lungs. Horrible response time to nurse call. Allowed to sit in wet depends for hours What is wrong with this place.

Has to be the worst place available in our area. My father was left laying in his own waste until he developed a fungal infection in his private area. Developed pressure sores (bed sores) within 2 weeks. Hospice recommended by doctors when he was discharged from the hospital but their director of nursing would not discuss hospice. Instead forced my father to do physical therapy until insurance cut benefits due to his inability to participate in therapy. Suddenly their doctor approved hospice. The hospital gives you a list of off places for your loved one and you choose one. Once you leave the fancier lobby the smell of urine is overwhelming. Never send someone you care about to this place. Should be shut down.

My stay was very difficult due to an outdated call system. When pushing the call button there was no 2 way communication to express my need whether minor or urgent. This was especially difficult when I was non-ambulatory or in a vunerable situation. I would push the button and wait up to 45 minutes prior to a response. Once arrivIng the staff was kind and helpful. Appeals to the Administration brought promises with little result. Follow through for an updated call system is essential. The physical and occupational therapy staff was excellent.

I was searching for my wife since she needed to have rehab. Arlington Court Nursing & Rehabilitation Center was nice. But it had it drawback such as being dark and dreary. The rooms weren't of the size that my wife felt comfortable. Then when we did the comparison printout, it was average on most of its conditions and features. The facility was acceptable. There was nothing really derogatory about it, but it was just not to our appeal. First of all the walkway was so long it looked like a maze to get back to where her room would be. It is a long walk to go to the dining hall. It just didn't have that magnetic draw.

The service at Arlington Court Nursing and Rehab Center is horrible. I would never send anybody there. It was dirty, and my mom was ignored. When you walk in, you could smell urine. There were days that I had to bathe her, because they didn't bathe her. It was really horrible. I don't know who to contact to report them. The facility is dirty. Her room was okay, with a TV and a phone. It had a nice window, but it was small and crowded. They showed her where the shower room was, and the shower looked like something from the 30's. The seat that you had to sit in is like a torture device. The commode right beside it was dirty with stool. The food was so bad that she couldn't eat it, and I would bring dinner in. I would say their physical therapy was good. They had a good physical therapy staff. If it hadn't been for them, I would think she would not have any care. They would bring in some pets for pet therapy. I saw one guy singing some old time songs. I think they had a movie day, and once a week they would take the residents on trip to the grocery stores. There were activities, but not as many as she has now.

The worst, don't go here for therapy. Was receiving therapy for knee replacement surgery. Going here was a major set back in my recuperation.
