My dad has moved into The Wellington at North Bend Crossing. It's wonderful. Everybody is really caring, and he is getting the best care. Anything he needs, they've got him covered. Apparently, the food is really great; he keeps telling me how great it is. The staff are very kind. They're available at all times, and they answer questions. My dad lives in a one-bedroom apartment, which is really spacious. He has a big walk-in closet, it's got a space for an up and down washer and dryer, it's got a full kitchen area, and he's got a little like sun area, which is off of the living room. They have walking trails, there's an exercise fitness room, and they have a van situation that takes residents where they need to go. They have just completely changed all the carpeting and furniture in the facility, and they have repainted the entire place, so it actually looks brand new. We compared it to other facilities in the area and it's close/more affordable than most. They have all kinds of sporting activities like pickleball, they have like a little golf set inside, they play bingo, they have music, they have a lounge/bar area, and they have live entertainment there.

I liked The Wellington at North Bend Crossing. We intended to go there. But when my mom broke her leg, they said she wouldn't be eligible to go there because she couldn't get up and walk or pivot. So, we kind of put that on the backburner there. We toured everything. We're talking about putting my mom in assisted living and my dad in the memory care at first. Everything seemed to be fine and they had activities for the seniors and would provide transportation for doctor's visits. My mom's doctor is just over the hill from there where she goes. They have bingo and activities for the seniors. The rooms seemed to be pretty good. The one-bedroom that I looked at seemed to be a little bit smaller than the other ones that I looked at. I've got to get them both in the same room if I can. It seemed like everything was well kept, for the age of the place. It's not that old, but I mean, it's probably 10, 15 years old, maybe a little older than that, but everything seemed to be fine, as far as maintenance goes. I've always had a good rapport with the staff. I followed up with them probably about four or five times in the last eight months.

I like The Wellington at North Bend Crossing, and that's where my mom is moving in. We chose this place because of its location, and that's the biggest part. I also know the families of some residents there, and they recommend it, and really like it so far. The price, and what they offered as far as activities, were also a factor as to why mom is going there. I like their rooms. They're bigger than any of the other places I saw. The staff were all very nice too. They've gotten back to me about any questions I had, and the assessment nurse was very nice. We had a great conversation. She listened to my concerns and said that they would be able to help my mom, and that's all I care about. The facility was a little bit older, but it was still very clean, decorated nicely, and the rooms looked like they were updated. We'll just have to see how this all plays out once she's there already.

Moving my mother into the assisted living facility has been a blessing to our family. Their attention and care for mom means that I can rest assured that she is safe and cared for even when I am not with her. The staff has been very supportive, friendly, and generous with time and information.

I like The Wellington at North Bend Crossing because the apartments were bigger than where my mother is now. The staff who showed us around was very friendly, but there weren't a lot of people around at that time, so I could not see what they were doing or if they were interacting. I liked the space, I liked the facility, they had a lot to offer, and they had an exercise room. They gave us lunch there, and it was good. We enjoyed the food, and the staff told us it was nothing special -- it was just something that they gave all the residents there. For someone who is younger and independent living, I would give them a "five," but for an older person who is in their nineties, I would not give them a "five" because of the elevators, and it's really a large place.

I visited The Wellington at North Bend Crossing. It was fine. The dining area was nice. It was an open area. They also had another place they called a deli. They had small kitchens, but you don't need a big kitchen when you're in that situation. The staff was very nice and seemed knowledgeable. The problem with the COVID-19, they didn't do as much and didn't show you as much.

Don't waste your money. If it wasn't for Covid, I would be taking my mom out of there. Management has changed and the new management seems to be lazy and does not care about the residents. The residents don't even see them! EVER! They stay in their office, Meanwhile the staff in the kitchen, house keeping, aides and nurses are all over worked. It is my understanding that there is often one nurse and two aides for the entire building. At the cost for living here, our loved ones should get better care!

Short staffed, long wait times for assistance. Business manager short with answers and very rude. I am not a happy family member at all. Will be moving Mother from here.

The Wellington at North Bend Crossing was very nice, and everybody was friendly, but they were not outgoing like they were at the other places, and the residents didn't appear as happy. The dining area was nice and looked like fine dining. The facility itself was very clean, very well decorated, beautiful, very big, and spacious. The room they showed me for my aunt was not very impressive and was just average. They had other units that were very spacious and really pretty, but they weren't available. The staff I had interaction with was very nice, very helpful, and very informative.

We had a family member there. It is a beautiful, new facility. There are, however problems with nursing care for those needing assisted living. Medicine errors were made over and over again. There was lack of response from the time the nurse call light was activated until they came, over 30 minutes. We are so happy we moved our loved one out of there and into a better facility in Cincinnati!

We put my mom here for rehab on a trial basis and Thank God we did!! I would not recommend this facility to anyone that needs any kind of assistance. We were told that the push light response time should be no longer than 10 minutes. We have waited as long as 45 minutes. When my mom first got there she didn't get a shower for two weeks, when we were told it would only take a few days. When we would bring those things up to Deb the CEO or Amanda the DON (Director of Nothing, I mean Nursing) they would say that's unacceptable and would take care of it. Nothing usually ever changed. They are always short PCA's and even nurses on the evening shift and weekend's. So if you need something then, you will probably have to do it yourself or have a family member help you like I had to do many times. They do have a very nice dining area and the food is good, but like any place everything is going to cost you and I mean everything!! Good Luck in your search and God Bless!!!

Very nice building but staffing is an issue. They were a good facility but a lot has changed in the last few years. Most of the Resident Assistants are agency and there was a new one every week. If you are considering them, ask about staffing ratios in assisted living and # of agency. They never had adequate staffing on Sundays. The permanent staff that has stayed on is good but the Management Team is not customer focused. They were purchased last December 2016 and changed their name. They had a high turnover in staffing at that time and since. Memory Care is small with a small area to walk inside and nothing outside. Food quality varies but for all holidays, they provide a large very nice lunch and not very appealing ham and cheese sandwich for dinner. Families should not have to supplement meals when paying that much for a meal plan.

The Wellington was a very nice facility, very nice dining area, and a lot of family interaction, but they didn’t have the staff ratio that I like in a memory care. There weren’t a lot of places for my mom to walk; my mom likes to walk.

Renaissance West is a great facility. But it's a lot more expensive. The monthly meals only included two meals. They should include 3 meals for their price. But it's a beautiful facility.

We liked Renaissance West very much, but it was way out of our price range. Other than that, it was very nice and worth the price. The staff was very helpful. The dining room was very nice. We ate lunch there on St Patrick’s Day. It was very good because they had a buffet at the time.

Renaissance West at North Bend Crossing was the newest facility of all the ones I saw, and it was pretty nice. It was well decorated. The staff that assisted me was very professional and helpful.

My mom has been with Rennaisance West for 3 years now. She is in the assisted living. If she calls for someone, sometimes it takes a little while for them to get there but generally it's acceptable. The staff is very friendly, personable and nice. The building is very nice. The food service is alright. `

Living in Rennaisance West is like living in a country club. It's nice and upscale. The apartments are beautiful. The building itself is just gorgeous. You won't find people more caring other than their staff. They're very conscientious. My father is in independent living. They have activities for him. They always have something to keep him going instead of sitting around by himself. The food is good, and I know he is eating eating healthy. We are in a complete peace of mind that he is in a great and safe place.

The location and the grounds at Renaissance West were not as nice; you were looking out at a parking lot. The apartment and the people were very nice.

We were happy with Renaissance; it was clean, and the people were very kind. We really liked it and we liked the size of the room. The staff has been fine and the food is very good. The only thing I’m not happy with --and things that they could improve on -- include patient care with some of their aids and medical assistance, but still I would highly recommend this place.

Renaissance West is a newer building. It got finished last year or 2 years ago. The architecture and the décor are really off-the-charts, but the downfall, in my situation, was they did not have a nursing area. They're just an assisted living facility. When we found out that they didn't have nursing care, we were heartbroken. To go into the building is just breathtaking. It's really, really cool. I know they have the gas fireplaces, and their dining rooms are made to be almost like being in a lounge. The dining room is like going into a restaurant. They have tablecloths, and the napkins were all set up. It's something you don’t get at home. I was very impressed.

the facility was very clean and nice. The workers and residents were very friendly at all times. I liked all the activities daily. I also liked the residents help with the tours. I could see my mother in law very happy there. I like that there where 3 areas for help.
