My father was inpatient here for two weeks. The communication was terrible. No one called me to set up a meeting to go over the plan of care. I had to call over and over to try and get information. His clothes were not changed for the last 5 days he was there. He only had one shower the whole time he was there. They never ordered a walker for him prior to DC. They never notified his assisted living he was returning. Never sent his new Rx over. His electric razor and charger went missing. I talked to 4 people about this, gave Zachary a receipt. I was never reimbursed. I tried calling to speak to a supervisor and was on hold for 15 minutes no one answered. Finally Joan called me back and said she would address my concerns NEVER CALLED BACK. This place is terrible.

The nurses, nurse aides, PT & OT therapists, nurse practitioner, and social workers were professional friendly and provided me with the utmost excellent day or night. During my time there I felt safe and comfortable. This facility is kept immaculately clean, and thankfully practices strict Covid protocols. I highly recommend this facility to anyone of any age in need of extended medical treatment, and/or Rehabilitation therapy.

My mother was at ProMedica Skilled Nursing and Rehabilitation for skilled rehab for a period of about five weeks. She was there to have convalescence and therapy for a fractured femur at the hip joint. Their staffing was severely lacking in quantity and quality. Call light answering times were extremely prolonged as long as 45 minutes, sometimes an hour. Many of them seemed to be uncaring and unsympathetic to the point of almost rough handling. As far as exactly what condition my mother was in there for and what kind of things that she needed help with, inter-staff communication was poor. Her staples were left in for a protracted period of time before anybody addressed taking them out. The physical environment was beautiful. The temperature controls in the room were fine. The restroom facilities were fine. The physical surroundings were wonderful, but the actual care that goes on there was definitely less than average. The only activity that I really think they had going on was bingo that they provided over the television. They had exercise classes for those people who were able. Her personal hygiene was let go. It was poor care. She developed an open decubitus while she was there on her tailbone.
