The staff at Legacy At Willow Pond are very attentive, pleasant and upbeat. The facility itself is colorful, light, airy, welcoming, and just very comfortable. It's brand new and everything just seems very fresh and inviting. They take care of things and have kept things up. The rooms are nice. My wife is in a one-bedroom apartment, but they also have studios and two bedrooms.
The dining area is certainly adequate. It's large and comfortable. It's got that sense of being in a community. There are no assigned seats or anything like that, so if they want to designate a time to meet somebody else, they can do that. There's a lot of autonomy and flexibility and it seems like the quality of the meals is reasonably good and fresh.
There are plenty of activities available. They do trips regularly to either shopping malls or to other places that might be of interest, as well as onsite activities like bingo, Bible studies, movies, or other things like that. So, they have a lot to do.

My mother lived there for 4 years. It was a great experience. The food was great, pleasant employees, fast response to suggestions. I felt my mother was in a safe place in a clean facility staffed with caring people. Plenty of activities.

My mother in law was at Legacy for a little over 4 years before she moved on to assisted living. The facility was clean, well managed and the staff was excellent. She often raved how great the meals were. There were enough activities to keep her active. Her apartment was just about the right size for her and she had everything in it she needed. the maintenance staff was very good at fixing any issues that came up. I would highly recommend Legacy at Willow Pond.

My friend moved into the Legacy at Willow Pond. They were very informative, very cooperative, polite, and professional, and they seemed to have residents' needs at the center of their concern during the placement process. They were very accommodating during his move in and his subsequent three-week stay, up to this time. They answered all of our questions. I'd certainly recommend them highly. He enjoys the food very much.

My mother is currently at the Legacy at Willow Pond. It's OK; it's a good facility. They offer a lot of options for the people living there. They do not offer an assisted program where they have 24/7 care, and they don't have a nursing staff there, but they have a lot of other amenities. They move forward quite well with offering what a senior who was looking for independent living would want, and the price is right. (Actually, it's very reasonable.) The location is good, the environment is clean, and I've never met anybody who was a problem as far as staff is concerned; they're all very friendly, efficient, and caring. I would recommend the place to any person who's looking for that kind of facility. They provide all the elements that a person in independent living would want. There's a chapel, they have a hairdresser, they accommodate residents by getting transportation to and from shopping places, and they have a lot of meeting areas, a library, a lounge, and a full dining room. They do a good job.

My mom is now at Legacy At Willow Pond. It is a wonderful community. It is also near my house. The place itself is very well kept and the layout is very good. The price was excellent compared to other places. They have long hallways so that my mom is able to get exercise. The food is very good. They came very highly recommended from other people who had lived there. The staff members are very helpful; they're great. They have the usual activities like bingo, ladies luncheons, and movies. They have an exercise room, too. They have activities everyday that they do with the residents.

Legacy at Willow Pond was also very nice. The lady that did the tour for us was very pleasant. She knew everyone’s name. Everyone was very nice. It was not as open as the other facility I visited. It was very good, and we were also considering it. We were able to look at the apartments, and it all seemed very clean. I had no issues with cleanliness at all.

My sister is at the Legacy at Willow Pond. It is a very lovely place. The people there who assist the patients are very nice and accommodating. They have a beautiful dining room. She loves the food and is kept busy. Her apartment is very nice and has a little kitchenette, a separate bedroom, and a bathroom. The best thing is she is on the main floor because she has trouble walking, so that really helps her. My sister is very happy there.

A few years ago, this complex was perfect for older adults. however, with recent management changes and the current status of home health aides no longer based inside the facility, it really does not cater to the truly 'elderly' any more. Also, maintenance has taken a serious nosedive recently, with the parking lot rarely being plowed any more, and the old carpeting that is looking rather worn. Would recommend only for 60-70's, or those with physical limitations.

We are relocating my Dad to the Legacy at Willow Pond, and he is so excited to be going there. They have a perfect set-up for my Dad on the ground floor which will make his life much easier for him and his two small dogs who are allowed to stay with him. They are welcoming him with open arms, have introduced us to a wonderful resident who will be his "ambassador" to get him acquainted with the facility, residents, activities, etc. They even sent him home with samples of their soups on our first visit (and they were awesome). Jessica, the Senior Housing Specialist, has made him feel at home from our first visit. My in-laws also lived at this Legacy up until the time they both passed, and were very, very happy there so I feel blessed that my Dad will have a safe, comfortable home.

Mom is at Legacy Senior Living and the facility is very close to where I live. The staff are outstanding. They provide meals and they do some housecleaning. They have many activities going on like bingo and different types of church groups come in. They also have transportation which takes the residents to their doctor's appointment. They do lot of different things. They have a formal dining room. Breakfast is buffet style and dinner is sit-down style and they have waiters and waitresses.

My mother was happier when we placed her in The Legacy at Willow Pond. Before, when she was at home, she was very depressed and isolated. At The Legacy, she is staying in a room with her little balcony where she could sit outside. It overlooked the grounds and wooded area with neighboring houses. It just gives you a very homey feeling to it. She also enjoys a lot of activities. She has been bowling and playing card games. They make stuffed animals for Golisano Children's Hospital and she has done that and enjoyed it. She's still relatively new to the place but she's starting to adjust.

The facility is top notch; they have created a warm atmosphere. There are wonderful scheduled activities and the staff is very well versed at keeping the residents active. The library is well-stocked and the Legacy in penfield is in a prime location. Many of the residents talk walks around the grounds, and there are weekly trips to Wegmans for the residents. There is a gym, a well-run dining hall, and many options for entertainment. My grandmother did well in her time there before her needs changed.
