Peregrine Senior Living at Onondaga Hill is number one on my list. The tour was wonderful. It's very clean, tidy, and very brightly lit. The staff was wonderful and very welcoming, and they seemed very happy and content there. It's pretty much all memory care. The parking was fine. The services were terrific. They met me at the door and walked me around the whole building. The people who live there were out and about in the cafe and such, playing cards, and watching movies. The staff all seemed very cheerful and upbeat. It was immaculate, and it smelled fine. They were in the middle of renovations.

My wife has moved into Peregrine Senior Living at Onondaga Hill. It's just a memory care facility, so everybody is the same. It's all on one floor. It's only five years old, so everything is pretty new. You can walk around quite a bit. They have things going on all the time to help people, and you can go visit whenever you want to. I think it's the best place in the Syracuse area. The staff definitely go out of their way to do whatever they can to help. It's a beautiful place. I'm not too familiar with a lot of their activities, but they have exercise things. I'm not there all the time, but I've seen a list of all the things they have. They have games and things. I'm overjoyed with the place. They do a really good job.

I have visited Peregrine Senior Living at Onondaga Hill a couple of times and I'm very impressed with it. I was very impressed with the way that the residents looked, they looked overall very, very content there. The staff was very friendly and willing to answer all my questions. The place was very clean, they had it set up for people with memory care issues. They had a lot of activities for those people to keep their minds busy, which is good. They give them little challenges on their days. But it was also a calming environment for them. I could see that the people seemed relaxed, the ones that were involved in activities were quite relaxed and clean. The customer service rep that works there was extremely friendly and very helpful.

Left father alone in another room (50's diner) to eat because all tables in main area for dining were full of residents- it made us feel terrible to see him sitting alone and the staff did not seem to think this was a problem. After a fall no call from Peregrine to tell us what happened, we were notified by ambulance. After a previous fall was isolated to room because worker had been exposed to COVID, the worker then exposed by father. No plan to monitor him as he was isolated (he had just fallen the day before, was high risk and had alzheimers) and he fell again and this is when the ambulance called us to notify us and nothing from peregrine staff. Constant clothes/sneakers missing of my fathers and found in other residents rooms- and other residents clothing found in my dads room along with him wearing other residents clothing. this is a dignity issue. Lack of follow through when physical therapy was ordered. it is a beautiful building, but it is for profit as a business- unless you are able to constantly communicate and monitor the care given and that things are follow through with, it is a tough place to have a loved one. As a healthcare worker myself it was really not what i expected. They were not as wonderful as they seemed during an initial visit.

We toured Peregrine Senior Living at Onondaga Hill. It was very nice. The facility was rather new, about only four years old. It was very clean. Everybody was very professional and nice, including people that were there that they're taking care of. The people that we met with were very professional and seemed genuinely caring about people's loved ones and so on. It was good. The rooms seemed very nice. They were a decent size. They had a nice bathroom with walk-in shower, so it was very easy to use and looked comfortable. It was very neat. They have activities where people can do a sing-along and different things. Sometimes the whole facility was kind of around Central New York, like they had Adirondack thing and Finger Lakes thing. Syracuse University is big around here, so there was like a Syracuse University thing. They had a cafeteria set up that was like an old 50s diner. They just made it very welcoming to different people. The dining area was very clean. They showed us where they prepared the food and where they served the food. All the staff that we met there seemed very caring and were in good moods. The staff who gave us the tour was very good.

We toured Peregrine Senior Living at Onondaga Hill for my aunt, and we were very impressed. It's a very nice facility with a lot of activities for those who stay there. They have a beauty shop, a small chapel, and a courtyard. All the food is made there on the premises.

I absolutely love this place. Every time I visit I find new things to love. I know no institution is perfect in every way - it's not run by Mary Poppins - but is run by a team of folks focused on making the best life possible available and achievable for the residents. Thank you.

Peregrine Senior Living at Onondaga Hill was brand new and beautiful, but it was so loud in the center area. It was crazy, and my mother would never have liked that. The employees were very nice, but the whole center part was all wide open and vaulted, so the noise was disruptive. One lady was trying to read to a group of people in that area and it was a nightmare, but the people were wonderful and the outside was gorgeous. They had an exercise room, and the facility was clean.
