I have a family member at this facility. It is the worst facility that I have ever seen. The staff is very unwilling to assist a patient. If you feel that 15-30 minutes of rehab is worth 24 hour stay in a facility like this you are mistaken, They ask if you need anything but never follow up. Anything, I mean a towel or some ice water for the patient. You loved ones would enjoy dog food over the food that is offered there. There is one nurse and the rest are aides. They work there because they couldn't get a job in a facility that required to help a patient or to even smile. Please do your research first. Everyone has a different experience. Samantha from the social work department will YES YES YES...and good luck finding her. My suggestion is that if you have to put your loved one there....please hire outside help if you can afford it...They put my mom in a wheelchair and in a diaper because whatever is easier for the staff is what works. PS: When asking the ratio of staff to patient ask for the evening shift too. Good luck is all I have at this point. May we all stay healthy and never have to go to a place like this in life. This facility went way down hill after Super Storm Sandy and I know many people who said it was a dump and had bad care. However after researching rehab facilities in the area for my mom at the beginning of the year I went in for a tour and found out there were new owners and the building was fully renovated from Sandy. The building is beautiful , everything is brand new. And everyone we dealt with from the nurses , social workers, and physical therapists were so pleasant and informative on the whole process. My mom only had to stay a few weeks for physical therapy after a hip surgery but we were very pleased with her stay and rehabilitation.

I thought this was a great place for my grandmother to live at last year. The staff members were all very friendly especially my grandmother's nurses and physical therapists. There's twenty four hour security which is very nice and very friendly as well.The place was very clean and my grandmother loved it because once a month they had trips to casinos and restaurants with the nursing home. They also had a few parties every year for holidays. The rooms were spacious and they had a television room on every floor that was also used to eat. The thing me and my grandmother loved most about the nursing home was the ocean view coming from outside. The food at the place wasn't so great but they let you bring outside food. The place had private rooms or a room with a roommate. They also had bingo night and activities for the patients.
