My father was at Workmen's Circle MultiCare Center. It was terrible. It was not a very good place. It was very difficult to communicate with any of the staff that was taking care of my father. The social work department doesn't return any calls. The rooms are kept dirty; they're not cleaned. They made promises as far as language, because my father was having a lot of difficulty communicating because he is limited in English. The staff is not fluent in English, and they have very thick accents, so it's almost impossible to understand them. I was having trouble understanding them. They used the emergency room as a dumping ground.
The food was not good. The times that I was there, I noticed that they would pile up the food. Any leftovers or any evening snacks will just be piled up on a table, and then the trash would be right there next to it, and there would be dirty plates, dirty plastic forks and spoons. It wasn't very clean, it wasn't very organized, and it wasn't very appealing. I looked at that, and I was like, "I wouldn't eat here." The cafeteria was deplorable. Half of the chairs were damaged. They didn't have like eating cafeteria that was uniformed. It looked like a warehouse because they had several tables and then some chairs, but it was not a very appealing place.
They said they had activities. I never saw the activities. I was there for Christmas Eve and Christmas Day, and there was not one decoration in that building for the holidays, not even on the floors. They didn't have a Christmas tree; they didn't have anything. It was almost like it was any other day.

My mother was there for a month rehabbing from a stroke, this is the worst place for anyone to be at. My mom was put with mentally ill patients and was physically and mentally abused. Her brand new cell phone was stolen from her room, she needed one because you cannot communicate with your love ones or anyone else at this place, only when they call you for payment. The answering service just keeps repeating rehabs
Covid 19 protocols then you enter extension number and it repeats again all day. Do not send your love one to this awful place

My dad is in Workmen's Circle. It's OK. It's not bad. I haven't been in the room because of Covid, but they update me often. His insurance covers it, so I don't have to pay anything. The staff members are attentive. My dad is just doing rehab. They have amenities, but with Covid, everything was kinda shut down. I don't really know about the therapy. My dad has both his legs amputated, so there's really not much they can do with him, but they're taking care of him well. He is OK right now.

Most RNs at Workmen's Circle MultiCare Center were attentive and took good care of me. I shared a room with someone. The dining room was cafeteria-style, and the food was OK.

The Facility appears neat and clean, but the rooms are dirty, dull and it looks like the place where it's the end of the rode. It's horrible. AND the patient's are NOT taken care of. This is based on who can afford what.... and that's a shame!!!

At Workmens Circle, they care for my cousin. They're very good. They bathe him and everytime he throws up or when he’s okay, they call me. They keep me informed of what's going on so that is good. The environment is very alive, caring and compassionate. There’s a lot of light through the windows and the place is very clean. I’m satisfied. I’m happy that my cousin is there, and he seemed taken care of. It’s better now than he was staying at home and was under the care of other people who didn’t take care of him. He almost died in his apartment.

It was a beautiful facility, being newly renovated. It was a little far away from home but they actually provided pickup to and from the facility on weekdays for family members, which was great. Her room was a double occupancy and she had a roommate and it was located near the physical therapy room and dining room. The nurses there were great, they would take my mother to and from activities throughout the day, they did have a lot of activities for residents to enjoy every day. She really enjoyed herself (considering she was there for just a couple of weeks being there only for rehabilitation purposes). It was a big place and it was a little easy to get lost, but all in all it was a really well run facility. Only real complaint was the food, but you could request different meals as replacements, so it wasn't so terrible.
