The facility makes daily automated phone calls to residents' family/friends, letting them know if a confirmed covid case is identified in the facility. This has shown to be an efficient way of maintaining strong communication with residents' loved ones.

My husband was in Hempstead Park Nursing Home, which I wouldn't recommend to my dog. I told the supervisor their social worker should not have a social worker job there. I got my husband out of there as soon as I could. He was there for a month. The care staff was bad. The food was horrible. There were no activities. They just left them lying in their beds. They could pay more attention to each individual patient, not treating them like they were dying and waiting to die. There was no interaction. They treated them like they just wanted their money.
