PLEASE DO NOT GO THERE!!!! SPARE YOUR FAMILY MEMBER. My sister lived there for about 4-5 years with MS. The staff did not properly care for her. She was dirty at times when I visited and developed multiple bed sores. She died in March, 2022. She had a seizure and they didn't' find her until moments later. They were not attentive.... DON'T GO THERE!!!!

I would like to thank the staff and social work at Hudson Pointe at Riverdale for their outstanding professionalism and care during my hard times trying to recuperate.

I visited my sister 3 times a week and each time that I went she was frustrated with the nurses and the dietitian. I would go and it looked like she hadn't been cleaned or her room seemed to be dirty. And her room was at the front entrance on the first floor. She kept saying that the only good thing about the place was the dietary Supervisor who really seemed to care and went out of his way to make sure that she was comfortable as well made sure that her food was great. I even seen him with other residents and he truly treated them with respect and care, when I finally met him I can see why my sister always spoke well about him, so Enrique, thank you so much for being the best thing in that place. But I can't say the same for others there.

Unfortunately my relative developed a sacral pressure ulcer, and elbow ulcer, has lost 15-20lbs, always looks dirty and has several clothes that went missing. She is unable to communicate and cannot recall events. I went to visit one time and she was slumped in a wheelchair and was missing one of the leg rests. I had to demand and frequently ask for another leg rest. She looked so sad sitting there in this awkward position. Everytime I go visit she just looks unkempt and she smells bad. The reason I haven't been successful in transferring her out is because there are no available beds in the facilities near us. I'm afraid for her safety. If you MUST be there, PLEASE have someone visit daily if possible. Also she developed high fevers and was not appropriately treated. I went to visit and had to take her to the ER. She was diagnosed with a urinary tract infection and placed on antibiotics. I was also surprised to hear the physical therapist decided that she no longer needed PT, when my relative is wheelchair bound and has not been able to walk. Her legs have gotten weaker since she's been there. the facility is under construction which is looking nice. Hopefully the residents will get good care and not only be in a nice looking place.

there is a roach infestation !... on the floor in the rooms and in the dining rooms. they do nothing. 2nd. the activities and nourishment for the spirit is at a minimum. not good. make sure you have outside doctors. the doctors in this facility are all with a mask for some unknown reason. there is no revealment. they do not want you to know who they are, and very difficult to reach and have a conversation with. the best part of this facility is the FOOD 5 stars ! 2nd best. the AIDES. they go above and beyond with care, attention and dedication to each patient. 3rd best.. the NEIGHBORHOOD. 5 stars !

We chose to place our father here for physical rehabilitation. If you can get through on the phone lines, the staff is not knowledgeable on the patient and constantly transfers you from one person to the next. They have been completely unresponsive to us as his family and have actually hindered our ability to transfer him elsewhere. To say that we are disappointed and frustrated would be an understatement.

My girlfriend was at Hudson Pointe for eight days. Their attendants were pretty nice and very active people. You don’t really see anyone sitting around. They were always busy taking care of their patients and doing their jobs. It was located in an excellent neighborhood.

I thought Hudson Pointe was a nice facility, and the rooms looked nice, but it didn't look like it was lively. They need to improve on the outside grounds and staff interaction. They were more rigid. Regarding activities, I didn't see too much.

The online presentation for the center contrasted with my actual visit to the facility. The atmosphere of the center was very gloomy in spite of the bright decor. The outside was not aesthetically appealing and inviting. It is accessible by public transportation, but the facility is not in a good location and parking is not convenient. The receptionist was always cordial, but I was concerned about security. I was not asked for any type of identification. Some of the staff members were not attentive to my requests and had an attitude when I asked for assistance. Patients were allowed to sit outside the doorway of other patients' room, which I thought was rather strange and intrusive. The dietary was excellent and family members were provided complimentary meals. I was impressed with the scheduled activities for patients. Administering of medications was thoroughly monitored. The visiting hours were flexible and I could spend extra time with my loved one.
