About This Community

The Carlucci Home is family owned and operated and provides the most personalized services in a clean, comfortable, country home.

Founded by Jennie Carlucci, a Registered Nurse, over 30 years ago, the Home has continued to exceed all of the areas Assisted Living staffing ratios and continues to do so. The Carlucci Home has a staff-resident ratio of 2 aides to 10 residents. The Carlucci Home has always employed a full time Registered Nurse who has made her life’s work, caring for those she serves.

The Carlucci Home has an excellent reputation and those who have lived along side of the Carlucci’s have benefitted from the comfort of her entire family.

The Carlucci Home offers semi-private rooms for a fraction of what the ‘big homes’ charge. Three meals a day, snacks at resident request, activities, laundry, housekeeping, and medical services are all provided for a reasonable rate. Transportation to and from medical appointments are arranged for, and can be provided by the Carlucci Home whenever family is not available.

Ten of Carlucci Home’s beds are licensed to allow residents to ‘Age In Place’ longer, to avoid premature placement in a skilled nursing home. Keeping their residents at home with ‘family’ is of the utmost importance. Medical care provided on site helps those residents avoid unnecessary hospitalizations. The communication between family and caregivers goes beyond that of the ‘bigger homes.

I went to The Carlucci Home - Assisted Living for Ladies. It was a really wonderful tour. The nurses on-staff and the woman who runs the organization were incredibly friendly and informative. I felt like I learned a lot about what a high level of care that my grandma deserves, and I just felt very supported. I think it's about 20 bedrooms. It's incredibly clean and well set up. There's a lot of nurses on-staff. They seemed really kind and caring. They had both semiprivate and private rooms. They had a number of activities that they do, like a number of crafting activities (and I know there's more than that). The food looked really good. We were there when they were eating lunch, and it looked delicious.

We have found a place for my mom, and it's The Carlucci Home. The staff was very attentive and caring. The residents looked very well cared for and very happy. It was very home-like. The rooms were spacious, beautiful, and decorated really nicely. They took a great safety precaution. The ratio of staff members to residents seemed very, very well-appointed and thought out. It just made me feel like my mom would get such great care there. It just felt like home. They have a beautiful dining room area and a beautiful kitchen area. They also have a beautiful patio deck area that overlooks the mountain. They have a little garden. They have a chair lift from the outside. The residents were outside. When they want to come up to the deck area, they could take that chair lift if they need it. They have music, crafts, and bingo. When I went there, the residents just had finished having a wonderful lunch. They were kind of sitting around in the dining room, and they had music playing and they were talking. It just seemed like all the residents are very happy and cared for.
