This place was an answer to our prayers. I had looked at so many facilities I was getting depressed at my options. And then I discovered Martha's house. For a year and a half they gave my sweet wife the most loving care and treated her like family. They angels on earth. And I don't have the words to describe how grateful I am for them. Such a blessing a to us especially during a pandemic when things were so taxing. Highly recommend this place.

My family is very fortunate to have found Martha’s House. We visited multiple other locations, and as soon as we walked through the door, we knew that this was a place we would feel comfortable having our mother. Emily, the owner, is hands-on and at the home regularly, provides guidance to the staff, love to the residents, and communicates and supports families.
The home itself is warm and inviting, and the decorations are lovely. There is no institutional feel at Martha’s House and each living area is designed for comfort. Although the residents are in declining health and issues with behaviors do arise, there is an overall feeling of joy here. From the dance parties to holiday decorations to sing-a-longs every day has some celebration.
The physical care of my mother was outstanding. Their staff are magicians and getting bathing, dressing, and grooming done without trauma or disruption that we could never seem to accomplish. Once our mother moved to Martha’s House, everyone’s stress level decreased, and we were able to enjoy her in her last months. Moving a loved one to a care facility is never easy, but this was such a right decision for our family. I cannot recommend them highly enough.

We chose Martha's House for my husband because it's small and the residents get individual attention. There are only eight residents. It was founded by a woman whose mother had Alzheimer's, so she knew what she was looking for in a place for people with Alzheimer's. My husband used to be in a daycare and it was very noisy so he hated it. Martha's House on the other hand is very quiet. He's able to do what he wants and they encourage him. I see different things sitting out for the residents like puzzles and things like that. In terms of food, he's very picky, so we take him things that he especially likes so he'll eat it. He's able to go outside, sit outside, walk around, and that's important too. He's not just relegated to a room, but he's able to do things that he likes to do. He has his own room and he's very well taken care of. His room is already furnished and when he needed a hospital bed, which he did, they got that for him immediately. It's a really a good setup.
