I toured Carson Tahoe Expressions Memory Care. The facility looked clean and modern. I don't think they can improve the price, so that that was my drawback; however, all questions were answered. I felt I got a thorough tour. I think the memory care is different from like assisted living type care, so I did not see those kinds of facilities or amenities. They did have an outdoor space. The courtyard was nice. The place looked very clean. There were no odors or anything like that, and there was no visible uncleanliness. I recalled seeing a room, and it was nice and adequate in size. In terms of location, it was close enough that I could travel there within 30 minutes.

This community was very clean and friendly. I was surprised by the dining offered on their menu with lots of options. They are were participating in activities when I toured and it looked like everyone enjoyed being involved and watching. Everyone was smiling!

We visited Carson Tahoe Expressions Memory Care when it was brand new and it was pretty large. I think I saw a bus taking people to different places. When my husband and I visited, we saw the memory care unit. When we were there, it was brand new, clean, and they do everything properly. They had many activities and programs going on. The entryway was attractive and there is plenty of parking. It is a bit of an uphill climb to get into the front door. I think the place is on a hill.

My dad moved into Expressions Memory Care. They've been great, the staff is communicative, they addressed all of our needs, and they take good care of my dad. Even though they've had some coronavirus cases there, they're able to keep everybody safe and healthy. We visited my dad, not in-person, but through the window because of the virus. The facility is really nice. It's hard to say anything about the activities because I don't really see him, but they had my dad singing karaoke within an hour, so I would say it's probably good.

Carson Tahoe Expressions Memory Care was very nice, clean, and very new. They haven't filled up all their rooms yet. It's locked up, so you had to punch in a code to go outside. The staff who showed me around was very nice and friendly. They had a lot of activities inside and a movie theater. The dining area was like a cafeteria. The layout was more like building apartments or condominiums, and it's very well set up.
