We went to The Neighborhood in Rio Rancho. They're very professional. The people are very caring of the residents. They know the residents there. It's a very clean facility. The people there in the assisted living side were very well taken care of. The food was excellent. The rooms are very, very accommodating and very spacious for small rooms. The design of them is really well thought out. There's an emergency call button in every room. They have a couple of pianos. They do have a chapel, and I remember they have several patios that you can enjoy the mountainous view of the Sandia. They did have a movie room, and there were two libraries.

We moved my mother to The Neighborhood In Rio Rancho because we feel they would give the best care. Their assisted living is superior to others as well as the environment. They have some activities, like bingo every day; my mother is trying to get into that. My mother's room is brand new and clean. There has never been anyone in it before. My observation over the last two weeks is that it has remained clean. I have eaten there twice, and the food seems good. It is all gourmet and good. Everyone has been very friendly and helpful.

This review is for the skilled nursing facility for short-term rehab.
If you are expecting exceptional care, skilled care, compassion, assistance with ANY IADL/ADL tasks in this exceptional luxurious facility, then this place IS NOT for you or your loved one.
They do a a wonderful job wow'ing you when admitting you, then it's quickly downhill from there.
They have adequate staff around the clock, just not adequate enough to tend to or provide you the sufficient care you need to get better to return home.
They kept my MIL's door closed almost at all times. That's attentive, alright....
They took longer than 30+ minutes every single time to tend to her. This included accidents that could've have been prevented.
The professionalism and demeanor is insulting considering the field they are in and the reputation they are attempting to uphold for its' high end retirement home.
This includes the lack of professionalism or regard from the management staff.
I hope DOH steps in and requires that the company re-trains the whole skilled nursing staff and team.
Please discuss with your doctors/loved ones before agreeing to transfer them here either for short term rehab or long term.
