I am well familiar with the residents and employees at this facility. Overall rating from my point of view is excellent. The nurses are compassionate and on their toes to keep the residents comfortable and in good spirits. I witness them holding their hands, making phone calls for the residents, talking to the residents and assisting with simple things like handing them a cup of coffee. The CNAs work hard from the time they set foot into the facility. They are literally lifting and transferring the residents, dressing them, grooming them and feeding them. The management is fair due the fact that they are more less reactive to situations that occur. There is always room for improvement and its up to the resident's family to be the voice for their love one. In conclusion, there is a male nurse that needs to leave the facility. Please visit your love ones as much as possible for it lifts their spirits and makes them feel loved.

Never send your loved one there! It's disorganized, disgusting and THE worst place for anyone. Administration is disorganized and this place just does not have the capabilities to give good care. It seems as though they hire anyone which is scary. The food is disgusting and not very healthy. Most patients there are diabetics and packaged cookies are offered as snacks daily along with loaded sugary yogurt. It really makes me sad that such a place is still in business.....

Within an hour of my mothers arrival at this facility, the staff "lost" her $3000 hearing aid. Despite the delivery of an invoice for the hearing aid and phone calls, the facility has not offered to replace it, but is still "looking into it." That was three weeks ago. The facility itself has an old and rather depressing atmosphere and the admissions director was quite rude. I was pleasantly impressed with the pt and ot staff, but the nursing staff is clueless. I had to speak with the doctor myself to have my mother sent to the er where she was diagnosed with dehydration! Thankfully she will be going to a better rehab facility upon her dc from the hospital.
