My stepfather was at Princeton Place. He was there for hospice care. That place was amazing. The staff was very nice. The quality of care was excellent. They took very good care of him. He had cardiovascular disease and a wound that wasn't healing on his foot. Every time we went there, they did such quality care taking care of his wound because he was bedridden. He was always clean, and it looked like he was always taken care of every time we went in there, and it didn't matter what time we went in there. He got excellent care there. It's worth checking out. They did have a community dining area. I've never eaten their food, but I've seen my stepfather's plates, which looked good. I've been there when they were changing from lunch to dinner where they shut the doors and they sanitize everything and then get everybody back in there. I was very, very impressed. It's an older facility and I only went down one corridor, and it's an older lobby area. You can tell it's older, but you can tell it has been cleaned. There was no urine smell or any smell of not being sanitized. It didn't matter what time you went in there, you could tell that cleaning was happening.

If I can give a ZER0, I would. This place is a disaster, no communication throughout the whole facility. No one knows what is going on. Everyone always has a different story, no one knows what’s actually going on. My grandfather was in this facility and didn’t get medication for 2 days that he takes everyday. The nurses are rude, no one wants to do their jobs. They sit there and do NOT watch the patients. They lied to the social workers that my grandfather is working with. DO NOT BRING YOUR LOVED ONES HERE!!!

My father is at Princeton Place and it's a pretty nice place and you could tell that they care, and that's what matters to me. It's really nice and welcoming. The staff is really helpful and if you have questions that you ask, they have answers for you or they will all look for an answer for you.

Had my mother stay here for a bit while we could not support her, but had to immediately pull her out due to the lack of care and utter neglect. The staff are all terrible and dont care about their jobs nor the patients, it made me truly sad to see how all the other seniors were treated, i even witnessed a staff member yell at a patient over his meal and then take it away from him when they got angry, this place make me sick to my stomach, if you love someone please do not send them here.

My father was a very difficult patient due to his behavior and I was unable to care for him at home. I feel very guilty about leaving him in this facility. He died there in January due to an infected bedsore on his foot. He never had any water in his bedside pitcher. His foot dressing was often dirty. Nursing staff always seemed to be overwhelmed. The lady in the buisness office was very rude. This was the only facility that would take him. He died in less than a year.

You can’t judge a book by it’s cover. The staff members at Princeton Place our all amazing. The physical therapists are best, they are really working hard with my mom, they are very knowledgeable and they communicate the plan and the progress to the family. The nurses and CNAs are very attentive and caring, and also communicate with the family. The facility is run down, but they did get my mom a top notch wheelchair and air match for her bed.

Princeton Place is amazing. They've been super helpful with my father, very understanding of the situation, and have been there the whole way. It's a great place. It was the first place that popped up when we looked up for Medicaid. We still have to pay a monthly fee, but it's not a lot. They really take care of him.

My step father’s wife is currently a patient at Princeton Place. We live in Las Cruces & she was transported to that facility. Ever since she has been there, no one will let my stepfather speak with his wife. Every time he calls, the nurses are so rude to him & won’t allow him to speak with his wife. I don’t know what kind of sick & sedictive games they are trying to play, but that is completely ridiculous & unacceptable. The state of NM should be ashamed of themselves for even allowing this behavior. Warning do not put your loved ones here!

My sister was in Princeton Place for a little while. I thought that they had a good staff. They provided good care, were concerned, and caring, but she felt they did not have activities for her, and she's an active person. Her room seemed to be adequate, she had a TV, but she wanted to interact with the others.

I am a friend of a resident there. She was there 4 years till she passed. No fresh water, I had to get it myself when I visited. Cna' s on graveyards were rude and didn't care about the needs of the resident. She requested a red pill for nausea, she had it prn as doctors orders, and yet she was refused and told to shut up and go to sleep. She was told that no one cared she was dying anyway. The girl from the office said some very insulting things to her, she was never the same after that. She had a bedside toilet, it took days for them to empty it, unless I thru a fit. I did a lot. I called the Ombudsman to help me once. Boy did we get the red carpet treatment. But it didn't last long. Do you homework, please!!!

This is a very large facility with a diverse group of patients. All of the employee's are friendly and knowledgeable. I was pleased with the way my family member was treated in his last days of life. He was clean, fed, and mostly free from pain until he passed. We were kept informed of his condition. Thank you Princeton place.

Princeton Place was nice, and it went well. I don’t have any complaints. They were personable and treated her well. She was happy being there. It is a big place, there were a lot of service people in the facility, and everybody seemed well.

My friend was under the care of this facility following hip surgery. He also had a serious pre-existing condition with one of his legs. This place didn't have a proper wheelchair for this 6'3" man. End result, he was placed in an inadequate wheelchair which turned over with my friend in it causing both his hip and his leg additional serious injuries and a whole lot more unnecessary pain. MORE SURGERY WAS REQUIRED !!! He was sent back to Santa Fe to have those surgeries to repair and replace all of the hardware in his body. This is because that hardware was ripped out due to the irresponsible staff and improper medical equipment. Unfortunately he had no choice but to return to that facility. The hospital had done all they could to help him. He needs extra longtime care now thanks to the lack of professional care in the 1st place. BEWARE FOR THE SAKE OF YOUR LOVED ONES ❗

Stay as far away as possible from this place. Our loved one was there less then 24 hrs and was back in the hospital for lack of care. The nurse was unable to identify a fever CNA's clipped the toe nails of a diabetic and then lie about doing so. BEWARE !!

Stayed there for two weeks and have to say they have many good qualities and a few bad ones. The food was really good, nursing was average, therapy was good. Their CALL LIGHT SYSTEM is antiquated..a string is used to call for assistance, sometimes string is difficult to find.

avoid this place like the plague. Residents being forgotten outside, horrible nurses, one inparticular named sunglee is just horrid. Take my advice and put your family members some where much more caring. I know i did. I don't know how this place is even around. F on all aspects i have witnessed.

Princeton Place seems really nice. They both have an assisted living and rehabilitation center. The staff is really nice and helpful. They seem to take really good care of the residents. What I like about it is they keep the place really, really clean. The rooms have a bathroom and it's always clean. The food was pretty good, too.
