About This Community

At Lindsay Place, our senior living community, we offer our residents compassionate care and help with their daily routine. We develop individual care plans to meet the needs of each resident, and a full-time registered nurse is available 24 hours a day to provide clinical oversight and coordination of care. Our residents engage in a variety of invigorating outdoor activities, such as picnics in the local park, gardening, bird-watching walks, and trips to the zoo. We welcome pets and offer activities to help residents thrive in mind and body, such as Qigong, bible study, bingo, cardio exercise, trivia, and live entertainment. We maintain a festive atmosphere in our community year round. Our residents deserve the best, and we work hard to offer them the highest standard of assisted living care.

Lindsay Place was nice. It was clean and the people were very friendly, very nice, and knowledgeable. They gave us a good tour of the place and gave us a good idea of what we wanted. The rooms were adequately sized and had a good layout. They seemed to have daily activities and larger weekly activities. So, we were happy with it. The menu looked fine too.

Lindsay Place was small. The staff was kind and caring. The rooms were very nice. They were spacious and laid-out well, which made sense logically. They have it laid out in a square or rectangle, the whole facility. I liked the whole dining-living room area. It was all open, so if a person is on one side, someone who is working there can see them from the other side without any problem. Everything was tidy and taken care of. It was clean and did not smell like urine. It was up-to-par. I think maybe if the property was fenced in, that would be a second line of security, so that if the residents got out they would not be able to get out on the street or anything. The managing director -- Valerie -- was also a huge plus.

I chose to live in Lindsey Place rather than continue living alone in my large House. I find eating in lur dinning facility to be enjoyable. The food is dellicious and if there is something I don't like, I can select from alternitives to chose from, I enjoy the many activities. One is a daily excerse program that is easy to enjoy. We excersise while siiting in our seats, The excersises are not strenusous and are geared to releive joint stiffness awften caused by arthrtitis. We have bingo and several other games that are geared to excerise our minds. The activites are not mandantory. We make new friends our age. Another item I enjoy is that the caregivers sort my medicatons and give them before meals and at bed time. This is a load off my mind. There severl physicians who see patients in olur facitity. If you have a physician that you desire to keep our health assist us to make appointments and arrange transportation through the Office of Ageing, Salem County. We ride in busses that are wheel chair and walker freandly. Over all I am happy I chose Lindsey Place and recommend it to all that ask.
