Baker Place was a very, very nice facility. I had an opportunity to tour a couple of rooms, and they were very, very good accommodations for my wife. I saw an activity there, and they were playing bingo. They had a lot of common areas like a big TV room and a couple of areas that had a television and a couple of sofas and chairs. They also had an activity room and a dining area. The dining area was very good. The staff said their capacity was like 47 tenants, so it's a lot smaller. I saw the courtyard from the room where a lady was at the time. The courtyard goes around but they're all connected, so it was very nice. I was impressed with the community. I talked to one staff member, and then as we were doing the tour, I met the director and three or four nurses that were right near the area of the bingo room. They seemed very friendly. What I liked the most was the people that I met and the cleanliness of the place. It was a step above, so that's the one I'm going to zero in on. It was very impressive.

We toured Baker Place. They are very clean, and they're very nice over there. It's that my father-in-law didn't feel that the price was right for the size of the apartments. They are rather small. They do supply the stove, the refrigerator, and the necessities. They do not supply any furniture other than if you request one that is already furnished or when somebody passes away or left the facility with their furniture there. That's the only way that you get a furnished apartment. They price you a little bit higher for the furnished ones. They do the level of care on a sliding scale. He just needed help cleaning maybe once or twice a week and to remind him of his medication. They have the little nurse's station and check in on them once in a while. They offered card night on Fridays, and they have a dining area. They have little tennis courts, and they have a little walkway that you can go through. There's a sitting court outside, and they have group activities and counseling sessions. The dining area is very clean and nice. It's just that the price was outrageous for what was being offered.

Baker Place didn't look too good. It looked dirty and needs to be upkept more. The person who toured us was very nice, but the rooms weren't clean enough. It was like living in a low income housing. They need to bring the place to life and not make it look so sickly. The lighting was OK. It was just the apartments had too many patches done to it. All they did was put stuff in it and just left it. It still could be better.

Baker Place was nice and very comfortable. People were happy there. My mom was happy with it. It's a reasonably nice place, and my mom would be comfortable there.

We’ve got a very positive impression with Baker Place. Everybody went out of their way to make my mother-in-law and her family feel welcome. They gave us a nice tour. As a matter of fact, that’s where my mother-in-law is right now. We were very impressed with the dining room as it seems a nice, friendly, cheerful environment. We actually came at lunchtime, and they served us lunch. We thought the food was good. The service that my mother-in-law has had since she has gotten there has been excellent, and the activities that are offered to her on a daily basis are things that she looks forward to. Everything that I have to say about the management all the way through all the physicians, housekeeping, attendants, and people helping her dress and in and out of the shower. We were impressed, she is pleased, and everything they promised they delivered, so we’re very happy that she is there

We did go to Baker Place. I was not very happy with this one. They were under construction. They just had a flood. I'm taking that into consideration, but the comparison of the individual who met us seemed annoyed like we were taking her time. It was really a bad experience with this place. Even if the facility was beautiful, I wouldn't put my aunt there because, in complement to the other two ladies we met at the other two facilities, we were bothering this woman. We just couldn't get out of there fast enough. It was just a very cold reception. There wasn’t even anybody at the front desk. We got in the facility without anybody even knowing that we were there.

I went to this assisted living facility in vineland new jersey with my mother and grandmother. The reason we went there was because my mother and I were still trying to find a place for my grandmother to go to. She is almost in her eighties and is sitting in a small apartment by herself all the time. So we took her here and a few other places to get her opinion on it. She found that this faculty was pretty good compared the place we had gone to earlier in the day in millville. This place was much better looking than the previous one had was just a more bright and happy place. The place looked very new and we were told that they have great food compared to other facilities. Luckily this one my grandmother was eligible to be able to go there because she made just enough money to qualify for it which was a big plus! We put the assisted living facility up high on our list as we continued looking around.

My Aunt resides at this facility. She has only been at this place for about nine months, but since her arrival there, he quality of life has improved greatly! She enjoys playing hearts, bridge and chess with the other residents here. The staff offers excellent care for her and the other residents daily. The dining room offers a five star style dinning. Residents family can join them for any meal. The food rivals the best resturaunts in the area! I saw a staff memeber go out of her way to bring a smile to one of the residents face by offering him a hung. The way his face lit up was priceless. They truly love the residents there.
