This home was very good until the nurse resident manager left for health issues. History of understaffing causes stress to aides. Many good aides don’t last. Requires a lot of follow-up to make sure your loved one is taken care of. Lack of communication to family members about their loved ones even when they are not doing well. Terrible record keeping of your loved one and they don’t pass on information to aides during shift changes. And it’s dirty. Feces were on the bathroom wall next to toilet. Rooms not swept. During sundowning, they have tied patients to their chairs with sheets. I bought a couch for them and they allowed patients to sleep on it during the night who urinated in it. After my mom died, I reported them to the NJ Ombudsman and they were cited for violations.
