Some of the workers there at John L Montgomery Care Center are horrible and should not be there, but other ones are terrific. There are some that are verbally abusive. There are some that are very cruel, but then on the other hand there are those that are terrific. If we can fire all the cruel ones, it will be a happier place. The person that I am a trustee of will not eat their food because it is terrible. The sanitation is terrible too. When I go there I have to clean the areas, and I have cleaning stuff there that sometimes disappears. It leaves a lot to be desired.

My son has been a resident of J.L.M. for almost seven years. He is very happy there. They have a variety of activities and entertainment for the residents. They also have a young adult unit which other care centers don't have. The staff, including nurses, cna's, dietary, housekeeping, maintenance, recreation, therapy, and office staff are wonderful! They all have a great relationship with all of the residents. Everyone is treated with the utmost respect. We are one big family here at J.L.M. I personally can't see my son living anyplace else. He has lots of friends here. This is his home and his extended family.
