My wife was at Jewish Home. The facility itself is outstanding. Each person has their own room. The majority of the nurses are excellent. The majority of the non-professionals are very good. However, the food is not good. I also experienced some confusion in my billing. They had activities. They had bingo, and it was very well attended. They had professionals to perform music, comedy, and magic. They had a beauty salon and a large wellness rehab room. The parking was good.

My father is in the Jewish Home for Rehabilitation & Nursing right now. It's clean, the staff is good and they've been very attentive. They've helped my dad a lot so I have no real complaints. They do a good job. I have seen the rooms and they are very nice, very clean, and very comfortable. I have not tasted a meal there but the one complaint that he pretty much has is that he does not like their food. The place had been referred to us and my coworker's father had been in and he was very happy with the program. That's how we got there. They have lovely spaces where they have seating areas for the clients. They have a lot of activities but for my dad, it's been primarily physical therapy. They have a full gym downstairs that he's been going to. They have a calendar, so they have all sorts of exercise activities, and arts and crafts. He has not been partaking in those, but they've got those. The only deficit is probably food. It's clean, it's good, it's wholesome but it just doesn't have any flavor as what he said. They don't use a lot of seasoning and stuff, so there's not too much flavor to it. Other than that, I can't say anything bad about them. It's a total value for money. They've kept my dad safe, they've taken good care of him medically, they've made sure that he eats properly, and they make sure that he gets a lot of the physical therapy that he needs. I would have to say they're terrific.

Jewish Home is a fairly new facility. They've only been open for three years. It's very clean, and the people were very friendly. They have activities, a lot of amenities, and services in the building. They're very attentive and know what's going on. They answer your questions, and if they can't answer them, they find someone who can.
