The Homestead I feel is one of the best nursing homes in our area for low income patients. I feel they could spend more of their funding on fixing up their building which is quite old and worn down, and makes it seem like it is a lesser quality residence. But, their nursing staff and aides really care about their residents and do all they can to make sure they feel at home, and that they are well taken care of. They have plenty of staff which is a real relief to see these days since most places cut corners, and overwhelm their staff with too many residents. I would assure families that their loved ones would be well taken care of if they were thinking about placing someone in the Homestead.
