Arbor Terrace of Morris Plains is a beautiful Assisted Living community. When my father was looking for an Assisted Living, I looked at this community. Everyone who works here is so caring and makes you feel at home. I would highly recommend this community to anyone that is looking for an Assisted Living in this area.

My family has been so worried about my grandfather since our nana died just one year ago. Papa said he lost the love of his life and that the weight of the loss was unbearable. I know that Papa thinks of Nana each and every day but now that he is living at Arbor Terrace we find that he is also making friends and engaged in activiites. During my last visit I found papa sitting in the dining room telling his table mates a story that had them all laughing. This moment was so very special to me and my entire family.

I've been a resident at Arbor Morris Plains for 14 months now. I like it as soon as walked in the door and I still feel the same. The staff is wonderful, the building is superb and the residents all get along. It's like one big happy family. We have meetings to discuss food choices, engagement and a separate meeting for residents council. The Ed attends the meeting and hear us and tries to fix and improve things. We enjoy the engagement and the team are all nice, an engaging group We enjoy the entertainment, outings, movies and cocktail socials. We can get rides to the doctor which is important as we get older. If you come for a tour, you will love it. I was a nurse in a Long Term Care and I saw a lot and know a lot. I knew what I was looking for as I was seeking a place to live and I visited many communities. This is truly the best. Beverly W.

My sister has been living at Arbor Terrace in Morris Plains for almost 3 years. The staff is so helpful including Maryann at the front desk. Maryann is so welcoming. We are all so happy that my wonderful sister is getting great care.

Care is generally very good to excellent ! Rooms are very nice too. Unfortunately, Food is average at best and a missed opportunity to build community bonds and enjoy a simple pleasure. The food options are too limited and no access to fresh local ingredients.

I visited both assisted living and memory care sides of Arbor Terrace Morris Plains. The building facilities were very new and reminded me of a hotel. The rooms were on the smaller side, as well as the dining, and they had assigned seating and two different dinnertimes. The food was pretty good.

Arbor Terrace Morris Plains is an absolutely immaculate, attentive, well-run, brand new facility. I know people that have transferred into the facility because the food is so good. Activities depend on what floor you're on and the level of service needed. My mom is on the senior living floor, but they also offer Bridges, which is sort of in-between senior living, and a group of folks on the first floor which is called Evergreen and is for Alzheimer's care. The type of activities my mother does is everything from outings to church, to the theater, to activities internally, everything from word games, to news and events, to cooking activities, to arts and crafts, and exercising. It's really quite nice. The staff knows every resident by name and they're incredibly caring. The only negative is, at the end of a mealtimes, for those that need assistance getting wheeled back to their rooms, there's not enough bodies to move a massive group at the exact same moment. The facility is spectacular. There's nothing I'm unhappy about. It's not cheap, but it is priced correctly. I really like the plans they laid out. I like the facility and I like how they are handling mealtime and the options. Rather than being set with just one or two options, they have a much bigger variety on the menu that they can offer every single day as an alternative to the regular meal and they cater to diet better than the other facilities.
