I toured Granville Place for my father, and it was a nice facility. I went through everything and talked to different people, and they even introduced me to some of the people that were there. I like the place. They have a salon. They also have a courtyard for the people to go to. It was completely enclosed, which was good so nobody can kind of walk off or anything. They have food there, but I wasn't there during lunchtime. They were done with dinner when I got there. I didn't get there until after 5:00. They waited for me because I went to the wrong place first. But everybody was pleasant and very helpful. They answered any questions I had. Everything was freshly painted and looked good. It's got trees and it looks like a house almost.

Granville Place was very nice and very clean. It's close to me and my family. It's fenced in, and I liked that the residents are able to go outside (my mom likes being outside). The staff was very friendly and very knowledgeable. It felt like a facility when you walked in though, not a home, but it was nice. It was like a circle. There was a courtyard in it and you could sit out on the porch.

Granville Place is very nice. They're having some staffing issues now. They are short-staffed and that's an issue. That's hard. They are trying to be very accommodating, but they need to update things a bit as far as rooms go. When someone moves out, and new people moving in, they really should get new flooring in and things like that. The people who are there running it are very good, but like everything else, it needs some updating. My mother-in-law has been a resident of Granville Place for a couple of months now. She seems to be fitting in well. Some of the rooms needed a little bit of updating, but they are kept clean. Everything is very clean. They are not apartments; they're rooms. They have bingo, they're good with games and keeping the people entertained and stuff, and they do have a bus that they run, but they have to wait for the state to get it back online because of COVID, so that causes a lot of problems, too. It was good that they have the facilities right there, all the doctors are right there, which is great, so that's a good thing. I will put in, which is very important, if you call and you have a concern, they get on it immediately. If you call that something came up that somebody didn't like the way the laundry was done or whatever, the management gets on it immediately. If you leave a message, they call you back and they are very good with that.

We're leaning towards Granville Place in Burlington for my mom. It was a small assisted living community, which is what we were looking for. It gave me a homey feeling. Angela was very informative and went beyond the course of her normal duties. I felt very comfortable with her. She came across as very caring and trustworthy. The rooms she showed me during our tour were airy and roomy. The food selection they had was very good. They have all the amenities that most places have, just that they were small. There are only 39 residents so it's smaller, that's what I like about it. The residents there look happy and content. They just had social activities and because of the COVID and social distancing; they couldn't do too much. They were just playing around, watching a movie night, and stuff like that.

Granville Place appeared to be safe, and it was diverse. The rooms weren't furnished, but they were nice sized. I like the amenities and the activities. They had a coffee bar. The activities that they have were like the outdoor concert, arts and crafts, and they were able to go into a patient's room to do activities if they weren't able to come out. I like the way the dining room was seated so that they could converse with one another. The staff was very accommodating and very friendly. She made sure I was able to see all the areas. She allowed me to speak to some of the staff that was there to get an overview. She explained the diversity.

I visited Granville Place. It was different. The staff members were very nice and very friendly. I got to see the dining area and it was nice. It looked more like a restaurant. They had a refrigerator and a microwave in the room.

Granville Place was great, and the staff was extremely helpful. The dining room was very nice. They had an activities room. It seemed like a really nice place, and that’s where I wanted my friend to go.

Granville Place is a nice place, and so is my room, but the food is not that great. They serve big breakfasts, but I don't want a big breakfast. Sometimes I bring my own breakfast.

Everything was nice at Granville Place. The apartments were nice, well kept, and clean and had normal-sized bedrooms. They had crafts and visitors that came in to play music. I would recommend them because they were open and did not hide anything and were very welcoming.

We liked Granville Place, and mother liked it too because it had fewer residents. She felt it would be easier for her to communicate and be noticed. The only negative thing that she had was the transportation to get her to her doctors. The doctors were available by phone, and I would like to see them make the rounds at least once a week. They offered that she come and stay for two weeks and see how she liked it. They were wonderful and very helpful, and the residents were very well cared for and happy. It was a pleasant experience. The rooms were very nice. Granville Place was very attractive. They had a center court that was well manicured, and this was all on one floor. The residents could get to be outside in a safe environment. The hallway was in a square fashion.

We went to see Granville. It was very lovely and I think mom would really have enjoyed that, but her finances would probably afforded her a couple of months, and then she'd have to come home and that wouldn't be very helpful to us; that is too much moving, so we have to find a different way. If she had the finances, it would have been just fine. It was clean and pleasant, and the people seemed nice enough. The rooms were spacious and clean. I think they were laid out pretty well.
