I liked Brookdale Evesham's proximity to my home. They were the closest to where I live. I liked their rooms as well, but they just didn't have any availability. They're full capacity. We toured the main floor area. There were areas where residents could go and sit and interact with one another. Their units were very nice. They have nice courtyards where residents could go out and where they could plant flowers. We interacted with some of the residents who couldn't say enough nice things about the place and even encouraged us to bring our loved ones back. I thought that was a good testimony of the residents as we were touring.

I visited Brookdale Evesham. The building itself was nicer than the other place I toured, and it was more up-to-date. The rooms that I saw were nice and spacious. The dining room was very spacious, the community overall seemed bigger, nicer, and more up-to-date. The residents were eating when we were there so no activities were going on. They had a little outside patio, overall there wasn't anything special about the outside area.

When I went to Brookdale Evesham, we liked it so much that we just stayed there and I called the other one and told them I was canceling my visit. I thought the people were very friendly and courteous. The environment was clean and newly refurbished. There is a full activity schedule every day. The dining hall and menu options were very good. They have private dining rooms for families. The courtyard and landscaping are very nice. They keep bottles of water in coolers outside so that the residents can just grab a bottle of water whenever they need it. I talked to some of the residents and they all seemed very happy with the place. The only thing I physically saw was there was an exercise group going on while I was there. It was chair yoga, and there were probably a dozen people in a room doing exercises with a video leader.

Brookdale Evesham seemed pretty nice. The people were nice. There's gonna be a new room that they're remodeling, new floors and paint and everything. They have bingo, music, different events, a little library, and some type of game room. The lady who took us around was friendly and very nice. It's quiet. They have a garden area where people can sit and relax and that seemed pretty nice.

My mother-in-law is currently in Brookdale Evesham. Until recently, it was excellent, but her behavior patterns changed where she no longer could be supported in assisted living, and that's when it deteriorated. It got so bad for the last two weeks, they made us hire somebody during the week. We're paying $3000 a week to pay for that person. That's in addition to the $7000 a month facility thing. But again, I don't think it's business-related. I think it's health-related. It's behavior pattern-related.
Before the pandemic, we used to go there, and it was humorous because all the women were lining up outside the dining room to get ready to eat. They enjoy the food. Now, since the pandemic, they're all eating in their rooms again, so they're not very happy with that. But the food was good. I think the staff is good, but the problem is they're set up to do assisted living, not nursing home support. They had bingo, games, ceramics, the movies. It was an active day for the whole thing. Plus, they had hair care professionals come in and the nails and all that stuff come in to take care of them. You had to pay for it, but they have them available inside the facility.

My mother has moved into Brookdale Evesham. They're very friendly and accommodating. The layout was very nice. It had a nice atmosphere. They just remodeled the place, so it's upgraded. It's more modern, nicer, and comfortable. The activities are shut down because of Covid, but they're gonna be opening them up next week. We chose them because of location, accommodations, and friendliness.

It was a difficult decision for us to move our Mom into an assisted living facility, but we are extremely glad we choose Brookdale Evesham. Recently it has been difficult for all or us to be with our loved ones as much as we want due to the Covid pandemic. Brookdale has done an unbelievable job taking care of their residents in this difficult time; and they have held weekly Zoom calls with families to keep us informed during the Covid crisis. Mom has taken to Facebook even more than before. She is non-stop raving about Brookdale; how great the staff is, how they turn down her bed, the delicious food, how they take care of her every need. She really loves it there. That certainly helps me sleep.

With the corona virus restrictions, Brookdale Evesham is not the same like it usually is. The dining room is closed and the residents are eating meals in their rooms. It's very comfortable but my boyfriend hasn't gone out of his room since the lock down. The staff we encountered there is very nice. They showed us 3 rooms during our tour, an efficiency which was very small, a 2-bedroom, and we went with a studio apartment which was perfect for him. They told us about their activities, we saw people gathering for movies and playing cards as well. I have seen books around the community and the residents have access to the computer. The staff hasn't been really giving updates but they know that I know he hasn't been out of his room. On the first day he's there and before they let me sign the paperwork, they let me eat there with him.

They take your money for services they fail to perform. When questioned they always have an excuse as to why it's not happening but they still charge for those services. Horrible!

Everybody at Brookdale Evesham is happy which means a lot. Everyone who works there seems to enjoy their job. Everyone weve interacted with is outstanding, nice, and very accommodating. The place is very clean, nice and the activities are outstanding. The food was excellent. Weve met the chef and they're very transparent.

Brookdale looked like a nice facility, everything looked nice, but the contact person, I didnt get some phone calls returned, and poor communications I would give that, but the rest was fine. The dining hall was nice, parking was easy, and everything else seemed good. The rooms were good, but you bring your own furniture.

Brookdale Evesham was a good facility that had pretty much everything my mom would need. We liked it. The rooms were perfect and had a kitchen, separate living room, and bedrooms.

Brookdale Evesham was a nice place. The activities and the rooms were nice. The staff was very friendly. Any questions I had, they would answer. They had the bus that goes to different places, like movie theaters and the grocery store. The rooms were very nice, clean, and big, which surprised me because I thought it was going to be smaller, but they were very nice-sized rooms. It's like I walked into my own house. It was nice and clean. They were friendly as you walk in. They had a sing-along when I was there.

Brookdale seemed like it was fine, but it wasn't that impressive. The rooms seemed fine, but I thought the common areas were smaller and tighter, and It had less exercise equipment than other facilities. It was a little busier and claustrophobic for me. The people there seemed nice. The menu looked fine, they had a 3-meal a day system without leeway, but my father usually had two, and he doesn't keep to a schedule.

We liked Brookdale Evesham the best out of the place we visited because it's an apartment, so my mother has a bedroom, a living room, and a kitchen. It wasn't too much of a downsize. She had a full house before, and I thought her moving into just a room would be too much of a change for her, but she actually has space, and it's a beautiful facility. She has a stove and a full refrigerator, so it's a workable kitchen, and she can do her own cooking if she wants to, but there's also the restaurant downstairs that serves three meals a day. They have entertainment at least twice a week, sometimes three times a week. They play bingo and have a painter that comes in who teaches them how to paint, and she's involved in that. They have some games like bean bag toss, Scrabble or word-association-type games, puzzles, and things like that, so they have a lot of different activities. The food is not good; they really need a new cook. He tries, but he cooks very blandly and over cooks everything. She's just getting soup every night because she can't chew a whole lot, so she's losing weight. The other thing I don't like, but they are working on, is that they have a couple of aides that shouldn't be in this business. They're not very compassionate, and they should not work with the elderly. They got rid of one, but there's still a couple that need to go, and they should get somebody who does care about the elderly because they're a very different breed and require some extra attention. She's in there for assisted living, but they're not giving the assistance. She's in a wheelchair and can't get out of bed by herself, so she needs help getting out of bed into the wheelchair, geting dressed, bathing, and wheeling downstairs for the activities.

The people at Brookdale Evesham were very accommodating, very welcoming, very caring, and very helpful. We’ve been very pleased with them. My mother is very pleased with the food. She’s involved in a whole lot of different activities, and she’s enjoying herself. The environment is very fresh, clean, and pleasant.

The place is very nice, and the staff is very informative at Brookdale Evesham. They answered all of my questions. I saw the rooms, which were all very nice.

Brookdale Evesham was the one closest to me, and it would be much easier for me to get there quickly. I did like it very much. The setup was very homelike. It had a nice overhang when you would come up to the door. It didn't have that much of a parking lot for people visiting though. I found it to be cozy, warm, and friendly. It had two floors, and it was partitioned off nicely, so there wouldn't be more than 10 people in a room at one time. Their gathering place was bigger, but still very personal. The person that took me around was really good. They had a gym for physical therapy. It's reasonably priced. There are two people always available to go to, and that's very comforting to know.

The people were very nice at Brookdale Evesham, but the facility was much older on the inside compared to the facility we had chosen. It looked like a converted motel on the outside. It was like a building that had been taken over and repurposed for something. I do not think it was built with the expressed purpose in mind of an assisted living facility. It was not very appealing, and it was in a busy area. It is a good facility, but I would only choose it if I really have no other options. I think they should improve its physical plan. I think it is old, and I would imagine a lot of people who go by there would think the same thing.

When I was walking through Brendenwood, the hallways were very long, and you would feel like you are in a hospital, but I like it because it was a larger facility. I didn't make an appointment -- I just stopped by that day -- and the head of maintenance gave me the tour; he was amazing. He had a lot of factual information. He showed me the room and the spaces are a lot bigger than the other places. The parking lot and the building looked a little rundown, but I know they were doing some renovations. They had some residents in the television room; it was spacious, and they had one or two pool tables.

Brendenwood was close to my house. My mother and I went on a tour there, and it seemed very nice. It was well run, and the people and the staff were very friendly. The rooms were small but nice, and it seemed like it was in good shape. We visited on a weekend, so there weren't a lot of activities going on, but they gave us a schedule and it seemed like they had quite a few activities.

I'm living in Brendenwood Retirement. Overall, it's a pretty good community. The building is about 50 years old, so you have quite a bit of maintenance, which they do take care of. As far as trips are concerned, there's going to the casino once a month. They're planning on going on a boat ride next month. They have daily trips a couple of times a month to different restaurants. They have different exercise activities, some basically on the screen activities, and they'd also have other physical activities given by one of the staff. The physical therapy department is very conscientious. There are several ways they could improve with the physical therapy equipment that they have.
As far as security, you just get in and out. I don't like the facility. I would rather be in my own home, but that is a big difference. It's something I have to end up getting accustomed to. The food is fairly good, but as far as breakfast, it looks terrific. The other meals are a matter of taste.

I went to look at Brendenwood. The facility was nice. However, I didn't like the thought that you would just sit in an apartment and you were basically alone. If you needed anything, you needed any help or medication, you had to ring the bell, and the price went up $500 or more for every need that you had. My sister could never afford it anyway, though it was not a bad price.

I am in the process of moving my Mom to Brendenwood. She is 89 & is presently independent.
The facility is very nice, seems to have a great variety of activities. Everyone there seems very friendly & attentive.
There is always someone located at the front desk, which I find comforting.
The studio that my Mom will be moving into is very spacious, & the cost is Very reasonable.

Brendenwood was mixed assisted and independent. The room sizes were okay. They weren't too little, they weren't too big. All my notations say okay room size but I crossed it off the list because it definitely felt like an institution rather than a pleasant place to live. It didn't feel that way to me at all and my husband didn't like it. I have nothing bad to say about how we were treated. I doubt we would even go back there regardless.

Brendenwood was my second choice. It was newer than some the other facilities that I saw and I liked their activities. They have choices that included some that I would partake. The staff was very good and helpful and their food was excellent. They've got good marks on just about everything to me. The appearance and the way everything was kept was the best feature for me.
