Stay away from Seabrook at all costs. The Continuing Care is a mess and totally disorganized. If you complain, they retaliate. I've been dealing with my mother in Continuing Care for more than a year. Their management turn over that time has to be over 90%. Everything I read says that a GOOD Continuing Care facility has a very low turnover rate. Let this be a warning to you.

I visited Seabrook. The people seemed to be upbeat. The atmosphere was good. The rooms looked good. Some of the residents were watching movie. The facility was good.

Seabrook has a good location and is an Erickson place so it is certainly ideal for seniors. It's a nice place and everything worked out well. They have an indoor swimming pool, all kinds of activities, and a chapel. The rooms would be large enough. They have basic person wants but they don't have much storage room.

Friends have likened it to a giant cruise ship parked in the middle of New Jersey. Every luxury, but large distances to cover for the mobility impaired. Costs more than most facilities, and beware of the refund policy for buying in...
